this post is so chock full of fail i dont even know where to begin....

"bring in geno for added experience". how does that even remotely make sense. geno is younger with less experience then fitz and no experience in Gaileys offense.

"utilizes his armstrength to go deep". it really doesnt help the deep ball much if the other team knows your brining in geno to go deep. not to mention, while geno has more arm strength, his numbers on passes that travel more then 30 and 40 yards in the air are abysmal.

"seems like Devin Smith will never flourish with smith". umm... WHO CARES? we are 4-2 right now, the core of our team and our best players are all in the 29+ year old range. this isnt a rebuild where developing devin is priority number 1. smith is super young, he will have plenty of time to flourish under whoever our future QB is going forward the next several years. Also, if smith cant learn to run routes besides 8's and 9's he wont reach his potential anyway

look, you want to throw geno on the field for an end of half/end of game hail mary heave im all for it. but a geno package is idiotic

The Geno package is the one where we trade him and a 7th rounder to Houston for a 6th found pick and some brisket, right?

LMAO! Perfect description of how I felt when I read that. I'm tired of option packages. All it does is throw the other QB out of sync. At this point there should be no reason to implement anything close to this.

Sometimes writing a paragraph just does not convey true feelings, nothing like a Gif to express how we feel about some of these topics.

We're heading to the West Coast for a game on Sunday and Daylight Saving Time ends Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Whatever is in that package, it had better include an alarm clock.

That clock better be pre-set for him also.

A curfew included in the package might be a good idea too..... Might be a good movie out or something

I lost any possible hope I had for Geno after that debacle. You can't be the starting QB for an NFL team and miss a game due to time zone differences or waking up an hour late. Even if he played like Montana on the field, I still wouldn't want such an immature moron leading the team.

Actually Sunday was the best example of the "Geno Package". Geno plays when the starter is injured.

Funny how my post makes no sense... But...uh oh down goes Fitz...owusu possibly retiring...Marshall limping. Can Fitz lead us to a super bowl with an inconsistent defense? Without elite receivers and a consistent running game? We know the answer...therefore he's in the same category as Geno. Revis is no longer the island he once was and we have a pass rush that may think a sack is what you get from White Castles. Do you recall that Geno was the starter until his incident? Why is that? Was he playing better than Fitz? Was Marshall lying about his abilities when he publicly praised him several times? I know Fitz is smarter...more savvy and more experienced.. But why not throw Geno into the game in the fourth quarter when we're confident a team can't come back in 10 minutes or less??? We never know what may happen with a small qb that won't slide.

Wasn't this asked and answered for 4 pages by fans?

And now that the coaching staff has a real decision to make, they chose Fitz?

    There's your answer.
