Funny story about Gary... I called him out for some BS similar to this about a week ago... then got a tweet from him cursing me out which was immediately deleted. Then I got the same tweet from another account. It was Gary's son who accidentally tweeted me from Gary's account rather than his own, then tweeted me the exact same thing. His son then DMed me to apologize, and admitted he doesn't even like what his dad writes about the Jets. Gary is just a sad sad man desperate for relevancy.
Francesa lives in a New York bubble. He doesn't understand that guys can have the same nicknames. It doesn't matter who the best is. He did the same thing with Billy Wagner who had been coming out to Enter Sandman by Mettallica for basically his entire career before he came to the Mets. Francesa had a huge problem with that. i dont have much of an issue with this.... i mean we havent been relevant in a very long time. they have recent super bowl wins and overall have just been one of the better franchises, we have kind of been a circus. are we better right now? maybe? better record, but they have an easier path to the playoffs. we could EASILY lose this game, and i wouldnt think its crazy for giant fans to be confident in a win
