I know it won't be popular to say anything good about the top of the pyramid of our Jets. But I think it about time someone acknowledged that just like shitfest that were the last 5 years are in big part due to dumb ass moves of their, this season is in part thanks to the man at the top. Yes, I'm takin about Woody. We all remember the horrid of the years past. I won't remember verbatim, I'm sure you guys can correct me here. - We're in the entertainment business - Can't have enough Tebow - Hiring Idzik while keeping Rex That's just a few, I'm sur you can make it longer. Well... I really think/hope we finally turned the corner. Regardless of what you think about Bowles, this was not a whim hiring, Woody actually went through the process. Re Revis, you know it took balls for the boss to overcome his dislike (well founded IMO) and bring him back. And however stupid all that billboard business was, cleaning the house was the right thing to do. I bet it wasn't easy for Woody to appear as a weak follower of the fans. So doing what was right couldn't have been easy, I know I wouldn't just to show who is the boss. Anyway..... I think we turned the corner at the top. THANK YOU!!! Thank you, Jets for this past year. Whatever happens Sunday, this was a phenomenal, unexpected year, full of crazy emotional swings, of hopes and unimaginable joy. Happy New Year, guys! May your wishes come true! May this be the beginning of agonizing joy for years to come Let's go JETS!!!
Happy New Year fellow Jet fans! I think it's a bit too early for a thank you for a great season thread. People around here are going to lose their minds if we lose this Sunday. It's going to be a tough game, but we can do it. LET'S FINISH THIS THING OFF!
On topic, Jets fans, thanks for 2015. The players play, the coaches coach, the FO gets personnel, and the owner sets the direction. But its our dumbasses and our devotion to the laundry -- watching every week, following during the off season, buying tickets, trolling this board, etc. -- that give the franchise value. And that's been as true as ever in 2015. When people were picking the Jets to finish below .500 and last in the AFC East, we, Jets fans, weren't. That's what separates us from Jags fans. We knew better. Through this season's ups and downs, we've been supporting the team (though many of us lost faith at one point or another). And, now, we're being rewarded with competent play and a chance to see this team in the tournament. That's a good year. Yes, thank you NYJ for 2015, but also, thanks, Jets fans, too. Paraphrasing a famous player, "I'd rather lose with Jets fans than win with someone else's fans." But let's hope they win this week. J-E-T-S Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Thanking for the year, not the season To me, this run is amazing regardless of what happens on Sunday
"Regardless of what happens?." Negates all the good stuff you mentioned I BELIEVE THERES NO LETDOWN If all what we've said is true then this team crushes Buffalo
I disagree. Even if we lose on Sunday, it won't negate all the good and positive things that have happened this season and won't mean that we're not a team on the rise, with exciting and good things to look forward to in 2016.
Honestly, great post. Woody really hit a homerun with his front office. We went from something like 3rd most penalties in the league to 3rd fewest. We finally have the balanced team we've all been waiting for and the sky is the limit. Can you people imagine this team if we hit a homerun on some studs in the draft? Truth be told, this team, at this moment, barring a complete shit show tomorrow is a superbowl contender. What a turn around. Sincere thank you!
Really And a shout out to Charley Casserly....and a shout out to whoever pointed Woody towards Charley too!
