In all honesty, I don't want anyone making me a sandwich at home other than ME.

Pretty much any food--get the fuck out of my kitchen.

The trade-off is, I NEVER have to clean up :D

Not everyone is as talented in the kitchen as you are Stokes. You are truly an exception. :)

Because most owners are still middle aged wasps who hire who they know best and they hire who they know best and there's little chance of that answer being a minority.

This is not coaching positions it is executives. NFL organizations have women in roles across the organizations yet they apparently aren't being interviewed for key executive roles. There are two conclusions you can draw from that -- either NFL teams are overwhelmingly hiring women whose performances within the organizations aren't qualifying them for key executive roles, which would be a huge coincidence, or they simply aren't being considered whether they are internal or external candidates. If the NFL believes it's the latter and not the former what other solutions should the NFL put in place to change that deliberate behavior.

It's been stated previously the black candidates hate being "token" interviews to meet the criteria when other coaches are already known to be the primary choice, but it's more than speculation to argue on coaches parts that they believe the requirement to be racist.

It usually helps when the coach / GM / etc. has experience playing the sport they are coaching. It especially helps when they have played this sport at the highest level (in this case the NFL). Unless I missed something no woman has ANY experience playing in the NFL. Even at the college level goes there are few (if any) woman that have played football. Women also have no assistant coaching experience in professional football until one woman just now. How the hell do they deserve to get interviewed for head coach all of a sudden?

Sure you could point out that Bill Belichick never played professional football but the guy was a defensive coordinator for one of the best ever defenses for about a decade before he got an interview for a head coaching spot. When he did get his first opportunity it was with the Cleveland Browns.

This gives me hope that there will one day be a trans sexual coaching/managing in the NFL. Because you know the gays are next.

I honestly hope there are a bevy of women coaches on the field and in the locker room. I want to see a woman in short pig tails screaming at an overweight lineman that he's an overweight hunk of sh-t. I want to see a head coach in the NFL who throws a bridal shower then goes over game film all night. F-ck me! I'm liberated and I don't care. Anything to break obviousness of the macho male behavior I bad to see as a kid.

Let them hire a woman, she can't be any worse than some of the men who have coached over the years.

If Kotite can go 1-15, why can't a woman do the same and get fired for it?

I understand, but the news outlets are a joke nowadays anyway. We can't have 3 inches of snow on the ground without a breaking news alert.

Think of the money teams could save hiring women.

    Great point.

Have them do the job of a man and pay them 80%.

Well it gives crusty old men a new avenue for meeting women. Kraft may get a new girlfriend out of this.

There should be a special place in hell for Virginia Halas McCaskey (Bears) and Martha Ford (Lions) should they not hire Madeleine Albright.
