I root for the Jets. I hoped wished and dreamed Geno would be the guy. Same way I hoped for Chad, Clemens, Sanchez, and all the rest. At this point he is never going to lead the Jets to anything. I'd be glad to cut him and get that roster spot to a WR. So if we can get a box of tampons, I'd be happy. Not being a hater, I've just seen the same old repetitive mistakes and lack of growth. This beast ignores the fact that Geno has actually been more of a TO machine than Fitz, and also ignores the fact that Fitz just set multiple NYJ passing records. Right on man, glad you found auto correct tho dog.
It will be pretty surprising if he isn't traded next week. If they don't trade him now (and actually have an offer to do so) that would mean they plan on giving him a new contract after this year or let him walk for nothing. Neither sounds like a sound GM decision. I only see him still here next week if nobody wants him at all.
The fact that some of you will lose sleep because the NY Jets have 4 QB's on their roster..... It's not that deep bruh. Geno is staying put. he's our back up QB. Get over it. Todd Bowles has said it himself... hell Bryce Petty has even said it himself. Petty said this "was never what he thought it would be, there was no competition... just QB1 QB2 & QB3"
haha..he may very well be but not because Bowles is saying so now, he doesn't make personnel decisions any more than Ryan did..he just deals with the players he is given..and really, Petty? Oh, and if you are trying to trade a QB would you want that team you are trying to trade to thinking it was your number 2 or number 3? I wouldn't pay too much attention to anything being said before the final cuts are made.
Well i dont think Bowles would say "Geno is our #2 QB" if he didn't know that was the deal already.. & yeah petty sounds like he's on the brinks of being the one that doesn't make the roster.. but if he doesn't make ours i think he'll for sure be picked up for another one before week 1. I'm hoping we keep all 4 TBH

Yeah just last week or weekend he said Geno is the #2 QB... and the fact that he's not playing tonight kinda confirms it for me... sure they could be keeping him healthy barring a trade but I just don't think the Jets are confident in petty enough to move Geno right now.

Sorry, no. He is having a disagreement with somebody over twitter, but you dont see the original slight or thing Geno is complaining about. He could be reacting to the NY Post or something a neighbor said. Its bizarre. Most athletes and celebrities use social media to promote themselves or make their teams look good or promote some charity. The headcases use it to fight.
