Stick a football in his mouth so he will shut the fuck up...play football stop dropping passes catch the ball
This kind of stuff always gets too much attention. He's an emotional guy saying something very silly at an emotional time. If you want to get on Marshall, focus on his infuriating habit of remarkably untimely drops.
He has had three or four bad drops in the last three weeks but he is still light years ahead of any other receiver we have including Decker when healthy.
Yeah, no shit. But, as one of our best players, he bears the responsibility of have to make the plays we need him to make.
Bright spot? Come on. There were no bright spots. And he himself looked like shit a couple of times dropping the easiest balls in crunch time.
Marshall helped his buddy Fitz out. Interception #10 in 3 weeks was delicately served up for the defender in the end zone until Marshall flipped the script. Don't ever argue about Fitz throwing "interceptable passes" though. There will be people to argue about that endlessly like this offseason. I don't know what the definition is, but that one sure looked "interceptable"
He's a great player and a good motivator, but the guy really needs to improve his focus. How do you miss a wide open throw that literally hit you right in the middle of the hands? He's been routinely dropping these lately, simply not playing up to his talent.
The Marshall hate is absurd! Guy brings it every week and is the best WR I have ever seen in my twenty five years as a Jets fan
For every drop he has, he makes up for it with huge plays and Fitzpatrick-saving catches. The one guy we have no busines giving any shit is Marshall.
Exactly and he is also one of the few on this team that actually seems to care whether we win or lose.
If this year continues to keep going south i wonder if Marshall hangs it up after this season instead of next year.
I just wish he would invest in some stickum for his hands instead of WD-40. Drops Marshall is killing us.
It wouldn't surprise me at all. He's already mentioned retiring a time or two, and has said he wouldn't play that much longer.
