Edwards, Mancini, Rex, unfortunately now Bowles, what is it with this stupid mindset of playing to not make mistakes and not lose. Someday this team will trot out a offensive mindset to score and not play to not lose in a close game and hope a mistake by the other team will put the jets over the top.
This game reminds me of the Jets losing 6-3 for a few weeks with Sanchez and Rex continually saying Mark gives us our best chance to win and he doesen't let him play when the season is over.

Franchise is suffering from a mild case of retardation.

In this league you have to wear it on your sleeve. You have to over perform and over achieve every season. There is no time. No time to witness development, no time to wait and see, no time. Win now.

Go back to the drawing board. We need an identity that isn't as lifeless as Bowles. I think Mac is on the chopping block now too. Macs biggest fault not sticking to his plan diviating to popular demand.

    Off with their heads!

The truth hurts but this Jets organization is just a horrible one. They need to get rid of the whole staff. Woody needs to sell to a football minded person. This team will never make it to the elite level where they are good year in and year out. Just a bad organization. They have the fans but not the mindset to be consistent.

different era, granted it doesn't have to be an offensive coach, but he has to be willing and able to build his team around a qb and not want to drop 17m on a cb.

Just once an innovative, go for the jugular coach would be nice

It doesn't have to be just offensively either...it's just an overall mindset

Clear as day Bowles is a play not to lose coach in every aspect and I've seen enough

So you're going to bring up the one offensive coach (aside from Kotite) that has been a Jets HC in the last 20-30 years? The rest have been former DCs or DL coaches.

Bowles could hold a candle to coach Edwards, please stop with this shit comparing the two just because they are both black. Bowles couldn't hold a candle to man-Gina or red either. Bowles couldn't hold a candle to my dingey.

They keep hiring defensive coordinators as head coaches and as long as they do that is what you will get. Someday they will hire somebody who actually plays to move the ball downfield.

I'd be on board with that, but Bowles will definitely get year 3.

That's the thing. The game today is pretty much all about the QB and every team pretty much acknowledges that. Because of that, the number 1 goal should not be to hope to miraculously stumble across the next great QB (as the Jets have done for 40 years) -- - it should be to hire a guy who knows something about the position as head coach.

Don't know how any could be watching this season and think that is even a remote possibility. This has been the worst coached Jets team since Kotite, Bowles and staff cannot possibly be back. Bowles should've been fired 3 weeks ago, unfortunately there isn't anyone on staff even close to capable of being interim HC.
