What the hell is this about? Who the hell is Kevin Patra? Is he out of his mind? Or is it just a slow news day? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ctions-darrelle-revis-to-pick-off-brady-twice NFL.com, my ass.
I cant wait until we cut Revis. Next time I want to see him have anything to do with this team is when he gets in the hall of fame. He is a big waste of money and space.
You guys are getting impossible to read here. Kevin Patra, whoever the hell he is, has an opinion that he, unlike any of you guys, gets paid to write. If you disagree, so be it but if he turns out to be correct I'm sure all you whiners will be back after the game to eat some crow - raw, with the feathers still on.
My bold prediction is that the Patriots will not punt the entire day. So even if Revis picks off Brady twice, what will that mean the Pats score 43 instead of 49?
Revis is done. He should've retired yesterday. If he intercepts Brady twice its because of dumb luck at this point. Some players bodies are meant to play until they are 40 some fall apart at 31. Revis is in the second group. I hope he retires and doesn't try to extend his career somewhere else playing safety or some BS, just retire.
My bold prediction: Fitzpatrick throws a couple touchdown passes without any turnovers. Jets win a close one. Some Pats fan from North Carolina will be the most upset he's been since the last episode of his favorite show, Say Yes To The Dress.
My bold prediction I'm drunk by halftime. . . . . . . . There is no actual alcohol in the house at the time.
Prediction: Jets win close game and half of TGG will claim the Jets only won because Pats' 4th string center was on injured reserves. The other half will say the refs gave it to us.
It's a ridiculous prediction. For even if it happens and the Jets get beaten, it means nothing. And for the record, Revis has 0 interceptions, and 2 passes defended to date, while giving up some 100+ yards per game. So, to reiterate, even if he does pick 2 and we win, it's still unacceptable on the season. And neither your sneering nor your highly improbable gloating can change that.
You usually should be in the vicinity of the receiver to have a chance at intercepting the ball. Just a lil food for thought there.
