The texans are now 3-7, losing to the bills today. If the bills can beat them, certainly the jets can, especially in at home. This SHOULD be a win. The only thing that scares me is that the texans beat the jags twice, a team that blanked us 41-0.
I don't feel like "shaking it off" lest than a half hour after a pathetic loss. You really need to create anything you can to make yourself feel better don't you?
Was it really a pathetic loss? We got shut out by the BEST defense in the NFL and one of the best teams in the NFL. Our defense played awesome. If not for a few turnovers and penalties we would have had a great chance. That said, its not time to look ahead yet.
5 second rule, and I hate the feeling after losses, this one hurts real bad. I just wanna look ahead now.
Are you for real. Get off of the whole Bears 9-1 record. That team is a super Titan crap. We could have taken this game if we brought our A game. Hell even our B game. It IS a pathetic loss. The Colts and first time we played the Pats.... Now those were tuff loses. We played them well. You gotta learn the difference. This game was ass.
The Texans are no pushovers boyz. Don't get happy thinking the Jets are that far above them cause we're not. We're gonna have our hands full on the road definetly.. Put the Green Koolaid down and cross your fingers that Bad Chad doesn't catch the flight to Houston tx.
Exactly. We lost the the Browns. All the remaining teams we play may suck but i'll be sweating during each game.
some positives from todays performance -any doubt that kerry rhodes is going to hawaii this season? he has amazing athletisicm and speed of the edge.. -cedric houston is a faster version of kevin barlow -d-rob played a fairly solid game and played decent against the run although thomas jones put up good numbers -the D is getting better week by week and should dominate next week against the texans. -the linebackers seem to be adjusting alot better to the 3-4 scheme as hobson, thomas and barton played pretty well today making alot of tackles 1-4 yards from the line of scrimmage.... vilma was fairly invisible again although im sure hell get his usual 8 tackles in the stat line -urlacher is a hell of a player and we did move the ball well against the bears d in the first half but the gameplan coming out of the locker room was really conservative much like the entire jaguars game. -The biggest positive of all???? texans, dolphins, packers, bills, texans, vikings, and raiders left on the schedule... None are by far guaranteed W's but with a revamped defensive style and a good enough but not great we should be in every ball game and compete till the last week of the season... -for all u guys who are thinking playoffs, the best case scenario is this teams runs the table, catches fire and confidence and surprises someone in the first round due to the buildup of 6 straight w's or a 5-1 stretch.... anything from this point on is house money considering the expectations of this team... i mean who would of told me we'd be 0-0 at the half with the bears..
Houston outplayed even Washington today. Houston/Washington. Barlow can join Blaylock. I don't wanna see him again.
Are we? If so, I don't think it changes anything regarding the next game. There is NO discernable Home Field Advantage regarding the Jets. Given that, the Texans would be just as formidable in Jersey as they would be in Houston. Its gonna be a dogfight the rest of the way. So much for the mirage of an "easy" schedule..
Easy on the KneeJerk reactions Rob. It isn't time just yet to bench anybody. We played the Bears today, not the Lions. Barlow isn't the answer nor is anyone else, including Washington. We're gonna have to live with the RBC until one of them wins the job outright or we draft Martin's heir.
You can make a thread on this, but be honest. EVERYONE is going to harp on this loss until like Tuesday. The Jets left some points on the board, and gave Chicago 3 on the onside kick. The splinter in the arm was the Chad INT at the 5, although his other one was almost worse. Bad loss on a team the Jets could of beaten? Look at Houston, haha, please.
