Can we please stop with the easy schedule business? It's one thing for writers and TV/radio personalities to say it because they have to find things to talk about to get paid. However, when I hear fans say it, it really irks the hell out of me. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EASY SCHEDULE IN THE NFL ANYMORE. If Chad does not start playing better we can easily loose all our remaining games.

Sorry. Its the easier part of the schedule. The are not playing the 9-1 Bears; 9-1 Colts; 7-3 Pats.

I agree with you though that none of the games are easy wins. All the teams are playing better and the Jets are probably only a little bit better than all of them.

We could play the Lions every week and still go 8-8

Yeah, I see us easily losing to Houston, Miami and Buffalo. I'd throw Green Bay in there too if Favre is healthy enough to play.

I agree with the original poster. Cleveland was supposed to be an "easy" game- to the point where the Jets didn't even really need to bother going to the stadium, and we lost.

Miami beat Chicago- I don't see playing them as easy.
As for the others, outside of OAK I don't see anything as a sure win....

Actually they would probably make adjustments, learn to go deep on the Jets, and even though they start 0-2 would finish the 16 game season 11-5. Was this not a serious question? :eek:hmy:

We can only afford to lose two more games. And even then teams like the Jags will have to come out lookin worse than us. Watch the Chiefs game Thanksgiving. It IS an important one.

The teams that we are calling easy are saying the same thing about us. Every team that we have to play thinks that playing us is a game that they could or should win.

Call the rest of the schedule whatever you want, it just doesnt include the bears, colts, patriots, san diego, denver, baltimore, etc...
It includes weaker teams. You cant say that their isnt a difference in opponents because their clearly is. Houston may come out and play tough, but they still are a 3-7 team that just lost to buffalo.

The remaining games wont be gifts, but it will be a much easier road than the other teams competing for the the playoffs.

Miami still has to play NE, JAX, at Buff, Indy, and dare I say DET on Turkey day...Laugh if you will, but i think the Lions win on Thursday.

Buffalo still has Jax, SD, and at NY...

On paper, we have a much easier road.

Most susinct and accurate. There are other factors, too, but I do not view the rest of the year as easy.

I notice Miami and Buffalo playing better ball than us. I said in another post don't be surprised if Miami has a better record than us in a few weeks.

Take a look at our record and the records for Houston, GB, Buffalo, Miami and Oakland. We're only a game or two better.

Man outside of Oakland and the Vikings, all these teams are getting better. It's going to be a struggle on all of them, and even Oakland has a good defense. We could very well go 2-4. The Texans are no joke.

GB is not getting better. Favre is really banged up. Houston is not getting better. If it was not for their ownage of Jax they would only have 1 win.

Miami offense is pretty fukin bad, i dunno is you guys have been watching them. The only reason miami is winning is cause taylor and the D is playing outstanding. And Buff offense is just as bad. Until Yesterday they couldnt get dick going, and they are minus willis. If we dont beat ourselves we should bet them both

The Jets aren't good enough for anything to be the easy part of the schedule. Alot of these teams see the Jets on their schedule and consider it their easy part of the schedule. Houston beat Jacksonville, I think twice. They could easily beat the Jets. The Packers at home aren't easy to beat unless you are New England. Minnesota in the dome is a tough game. Miami in Miami is very tough and Buffalo is never an easy matchup and quite frankly outplayed the heck out of the Jets during that opportunistic win. Nothing is easy.
