You are ignoring the fact that both of your wide receivers think they are much better than they are. Moss can't catch a pass and Porter can't work hard enough to get himself in a game. Your defense may be good but its not like Aaron Brooks is Peyton Manning. He is a below average quarterback. He showed that last year when he had pretty good weapons with the Saints.

Sorry to inform you but the 2006 Jets are very, very different than the 2005 Jets chiefly due to a new coaching staff and the fact that Pennington has played 10 games. You want the 5 wins, you got 'em: Jets would have beaten SD at home in Week 1 (and this coming from the biggest Philip Rivers supporter TGG has ever had). The Jets would have defeated Cleveland at home. The Jets would have beaten San Francisco, Arizona, and Pittsburgh. Now that's just an opinion. They probably would have lost at Baltimore, Denver, Seattle, and Kansas City. They also probably would have lost at home to Denver.

Come on with this Raider talk. I usually root for them because I hate the donkeys and chiefs but the Raiders are flat out terrible. We've all had to suffer through two Raiders Monday night debacles already this year. Those were two of the more unwatchable games of the year. Sorry I can't take this seriously. After all, you are the guy who guaranteed the Raiders would win 8 games in 2006 and that was after they had started 0-2 (in other words, you guaranteed they would go at least 8-6 over the last 14 games). This was after a summer prediction of 11-5 for the Raiders.

Jets are probably a worse team talent wise than 2005 version. They benfit from AFC East being really down and fact that they have a very soft schedule.(thats more reason there record is what it is- not pennington healthy or new coaching staff) Now Jets team that can't stop the run is going to beat the Chargers(L tomlinson- best RB in NFL) opening night. Steelers with there big physical Oline is going to have trouble running onthe jets. Please. Don't see jets winning either game but JMO. Can't prove one way. Fact is Raiders schedule was alot harder than jets schedule.
I guess it like Pennington looks pretty good against the bad defenses, but put him up against a good defense, and he looks like garbage. Again reason why Pennington not winning Jets any chamionships. Playoff teams usually have a good defense.

One thing I will give you credit for Joe. I have never seen a fan of such a horrible team talk so much smack. It is quite amusing. But I do agree, the Raiders only need a NEW QB, a complete overhaul of the OL, some Wrs, a RB and a TE and they will be contenders again.. hmy:
Diffrence is WE know what Pennington is already. What he can and can't do. A Walter a young QB that we have to give him some time. All young QBs struggle their first year . Its the maturation of a young QB.
