Sorry did not happen after SB3 nor did it happen after we whomped the NYGs in New Haven either. The papers have a idea that ONLY NYGs fans buy the newspapers in & around NYC & it will always be like that way cause the papers THINK there are more NYG fans then there are NYJ fans
I live near there and the local rock station was saying something about it. I thought it was that the Jets were rethinking it but I could be wrong. It's happened before.
The Giants didn't play the same day as Super Bowl III and the New Haven game involved both teams, so it wasn't a matter of one team's coverage vs the other.
Sorry you gave to sit in some corner & read my post over & over until you catch it. Naturally only the NYJs & the BC were playing FB on that SB Sunday
Right, so what was your point? Maybe you should re-read the conversation Section 227 and I were having.
MY point is cause you could not grasped it was there will also be more NYG coverage then NYJ coverage. Naturally if we are still playing then we will get all the coverage but once we are again equal with the NYGs they will get more coberage then us. Read todays Post for further emlightenment
Mind saying why? Both he and Brees had serious arm surgery last year and I don't think you can mount a case why Pennington deserves it over Brees, from either an individual stat perspective or a team success perspective.
Brees didn't really miss any time, even though he got hurt. I don't know if you can consider him a comeback player when he had a great year last year too.
Right, but Brees was never out of the league and he never sucked. He got hurt in the finale and was back for the opener. I guess you could make a case for him, but you can also make the case that he didn't ever go away, just had a rough off season. I don't know how they do it, to be honest.
It doesn't have to have anything to do with missing time during the previous season though, it's "overcoming adversity" and a serious offseason operation is certainly adversity. Bruschi played in every game in 04, had the stroke in the offseason and shared the award with Steve Smith last year.
I don't thinka guy who didn't miss a game and was good last year deserves the award. Chad went through 2 surgeries and missed 16 games in 2 years including 13 last year and he has been the main reason we are a surprising 8-6.
I think if Chad doesn't win it kellen Winslow should win it. I wouldn't put Brees or Palmer in the discussion.
Well you don't have a vote junc. The writers will give Brees comeback player of the year as they don't have the guts to vote him MVP over Tomlinson and will want to give him something.
Because everyone loves a trainwreck. If the Giants were just bad instead of disappointingly bad, you'd get your headlines.
