To be fair Pennington can't throw the ball and Theisman on the last drive said that Pennington should throw the ball to Leon in the middle of the field and forget going to the sidelines, exactly what he did.
did you have the sound up on the tv? if thats riding his jock, id hate to hear him talk about guys he doesnt like. thiesman is jealous of anyone who can comeback from a major injury. because he wasnt good enough to, he takes it out on others. and if anything, chad came back from a much bigger injury for a qb. it wasnt like JT was vick out there with his mobility. im glad his career was cut short because the guy is a pompous dick.
They are absolutely terrible. I've actually been avoiding MNF because of how bad they are. I boycotted MNF when Miller was on too. I wish they'd stop with the awful announcers already, and quicker too. Why do these guys get their jobs for years, while other people get fired within 3 days?
It is pretty much the worst broadcasting team I can think of right now. Theismann is a patronizing, know-nothing schmuck, and Tony Kornheiser knows football like I know arc-welding. He's a casual fan. But did anyone expect something better when they moved MNF to Sports MTV?
There is no doubt that they beat the whole "Chad has a weak arm" thing to death, and they sounded ridiculous doing it. Having said that, I'm not sure that Theisman looked better at the end, suddenly saying that Pennington is a "complete" QB. Actually, I thought he just sounded like an even bigger ass.
although i greatly dislike theismann as a commentator, and kornhole in general, i can't say i necessarily disgreed with anything they said. everyone knows chad has a pretty weak arm, which is even worse in wet weather. they were basically just stating the obvious...over and over again.

That is exactly what I thought, sure Penny has a weak arm, and was horrible most of the game, but from the way they talked, Penny had the arm of a 3 year old girl, throwing int after int, losing 47-0, they are supposed to be unbiased, but was killing him all game, while not doing the same to equally pitiful Miami.
Dumb topic. Kornheiser did not hate Pennington. He was busting Theismann's balls, especially when his tune changed 100% all the time.
Don't get me wrong, Theisman didn't save any face in my opinion, but at least he highlighted some positives about what Pennington brings to the offense. Kornsheizen just seemed to be spewing anti-Jet/Pennington propoganda. Shamelessly I might add.
