Ahh, misread your post. If that's their message then this team has bigger problems than their roster.
Find a great tailgate. Be a contributor of good football food. Don’t drink in the stadium (you need to sober up some and the beers cost $16.00). Leave at half time or third quarter (you don’t want to fight the scrum leaving the stadium). Don’t buy Jets Jerseys with QB names on them (unless you need rags to wash your car).
This year isn’t about wins, it’s about the development of ZW. If he doesn’t develop or he sucks, then you can panic.
I would say Trust. Trust the process. Trust that JD knows how to build the team right. Trust that Saleh and the whole CS will learn together and grow together to form an excellent team that works well together. Trust that Wilson will be good, if not great. Trust that our young players, same as our coaches, will gain experience and will be better for it. Trust that tomorrow will be better than today. This season is to build, next season we compete.
Don't watch the Jets while drinking with your favorite glass...you might be inclined to throw it at some point.
It's not complicated. Watch the games. They'll tell you the only truth there is about this year's Jets. Everything else is hot air - we need it to fill the offseason, but actual games are about to start. Watch them.
Been awhile since I've been excited for a football sunday to start.... and no expectations, just hopes make it easier.... have fun
For a 17 game season, let’s try and stay healthy long term injury wise and develop Zach. Zero expectations but really want to beat the brakes off of Carolina and Sam, who I still respect, but this one feels big. Let’s go Jets!!
Been a lot of "Gas" coming out of Florham Pk over the years... Show me quality football with the occasional win.
A NY Jets Season's Opener Haiku A football's in flight On green grass is where they fight May dark yield to light
That's pretty much how I am feeling right now, first time in a long time I'm going to watch a game in public.
