The other night I had a dream that the Jets had the first and second overall picks of the 2022 draft. It seemed so real. Or maybe it was Madden and I was stoned out of my mind. Staycations fucking rule.
You're losing more and more credibility with each successive post. You're gonna wind up at the same level as Br4d.
JD is NOT a D. Sorry, but that's just absolutely stupid. If you're just saying that in a moment of frustration, that's one thing, but if you seriously think that, then maybe you need to find another sport or team as well. C'mon guy, you're smarter and better than that!!!! You also aren't even being consistent. On one hand you say that he isn't terrible yet, but then you give him a D, which is terrible. I would be surprised if you really mean that. You've been a great poster in the past, but the above post is just utter nonsense.
I think we end up in the 7-10 range. Not high enough to get Thibodeaux or Stingley, but a good prospect should be available in that area.
Dude, I think you need to take another hiatus as you've been influenced by all the negative nellies here if you think that Lawrence is head and shoulders above Zach and this his stats have been negatively influenced by his supporting cast, and Zach's haven't. That's rubbish, totally wrong, and utter nonsense! We didn't lose out on Jedrick Wills. For someone who claims to be a FrontOfficeFanatic, you don't seem to have an eye for talent at all.
I have a feeling Seattle’s pick may wind up being more middle of the pack. I’m gonna guess the Jets will be picking around 10-11 and then maybe 15-16. Those are two solid picks right there - hope they don’t blow it. Not too many blue chippers in 2022 but alot of good talent.
Thats a lot of OL no? I agree the Jets still need some bodies there but I doubt they’re picking more than one in the first couple rounds. Becton and AVT are keepers and should be in NY for a long time. There will be a huge hole at RG. I’m not sure what will be going on with C if JD decided to move on from McGovern than that could be a high pick. RT for now and next year probably stays as is although going forward that will be a need soon. But unless they were to decide to move Becton over to RT and they have a new need for a young LT I don’t see another T being taken high in 2022. The positions as of this moment that I see coming into play for the first two rounds would be EDGE/LB, IOL (maybe a C), TE, (unless Yeboah takes the reigns at some point) and safety. I don’t think Maye gets resigned.
Are you capable of discussing things without insulting people? What are you, 15 years old? Weren't you the guy calling for the entire coaching staff to be fired a week ago because they weren't playing Mims enough? I know for a fact that many others here have told you this same thing yet you never seem to get it. Look at your last several replies in this thread, you insult people in every single one. Grow up. What an insane ego you must have to take it as a personal insult every time anyone disagrees with you. You're the type of person who doesn't get smarter over time because you never think it's even possible that you might be wrong on anything. Be more like Brad. People disagree with him all the time and he never gets personal. It's called maturity.
The Jets are likely to have the 3 to 6 pick naturally. The Seahawks pick is a wildcard, probably literally.
I can see the Lions, Jags, and Falcons finishing with worse records than us. Possibly other teams too.
I see 3-14 to 5-12 as the likely range at this point. That would put the Jets roughly 3 to 6. I had a hard 3-14 before they beat the Titans. As of the start of the season that was an unlikely win.
If that injury is severe enough to require surgery, Wilson could be out for quite some time (6-8 weeks). If that's the case, I definitely expect that pick to be a top 15 pick. Their defense is awful and without Wilson, I wouldn't have any faith in that offense.
When people make totally ridiculous posts lacking in factuality or reality, then they deserve to be insulted imo. Yes, my post was over the top and wrong, but was made in a moment of frustration. I was criticized and insulted, but took it like a man, realized I was wrong and have backed off that stance. I didn't whine about being insulted or criticized. Also, my post has some basis in fact and reality because Mims showed last year that he belongs and can play, and up until this past Sunday, LaFleur had done an awful job, and Saleh, aside from the D, wasn't a great deal better than LaFleur, especially with his comments. Saying that JD is awful and that there is no talent on this team is just flat out ignorant, wrong, and laughable.
I predicted 5-7 wins before the season and I'm sticking to it. I don't think they'll be as bad as you expect, but we'll see. In week 2, they beat themselves and in week 1, they fought back but it was too little too late.
You're right but I say closer to 7. They should beat the Falcons that would leave 5 more winnable games. I'm thinking they split with Miami and the Colts, Texans, Eagles, and Jacksonville would all be considered winnable at this point. Things change week by week obviously and you can't discount major injuries on either side. But 7 wins looks to be achievable.
Jets are dead last in points scored in the first half of games, averaging 2.5 points in the first half. Yikes, that's pretty bad. Darnold/Gase led the league in opening drive TDs (2019), so yeah, this isn't what we thought we were getting. But after thrashing the Titans last week, I'm willing to see how we do in England b4 I panic and call for their heads.
