That's nice and all, but Google owns youtube and that's that. Zuckerberg owns everything else. Roger Waters is out of his league if he thinks he can get away from any of it.

The rebranding was an attempt to avoid getting broken up via antitrust action. Nobody can say break-up Facebook now. Instead the regulators have to refocus on breaking up Meta, which will be a much harder thing to do given that Facebook is the demon that everybody is focused on right now.
Not that I really care about Facebook cause it's kinda weird and Zuckerberg is a douche, but the last 5-10 years Republicans & Democrats seriously couldn't agree on anything, I mean anything. But they both agree to hate on facebook of all things and for that reason I am rooting for them. The govt can't build bridges or keep their people safe/healthy or anything but they'll join hands and grandstand for hours on the evils of facebook. The funny thing is that young people dont even use it anyway so in 20 years it'll be obsolete
Facebook's AI is deeply evil, in the banality of evil category. What it does basically is encourage you to click more by any means necessary, up to and including ways that it positively knows are harmful to the interactor. The bridges that it builds in society cause head on crashes, like drawbridges that rise backwards from outer to inner, bringing hundreds of people at a time into collisions.
When i heard about it this morning, i thought to myself "how much more of this guy's[zuckerberg] bullshit am i going to put up with?" I think im going to delete my facebook. Not really a moral stand, just i want that creep and his army of creeps out of my life
