That he's dead is a terrible thing. We had a chance to really clear out the enablers that let him do this shit for 30 years. The power people who are now enabling other people like him. Their underlings and proteges who have been watching this thing go on since the early 90's. Instead we're going to convict one slightly-used hag and a few of the people who worked for her.

But I’m also a very sweet guy and surprisingly practical at heart. I’ll take the guy’s death if it’s offered. If it could be gruesome, better still. I look at it this way: five seconds left in the half, no timeouts, fourth and goal from the seven yard-line in a pretty close game. We kick a field goal but there’s a flag for offsides. As much as I’d love to go for six points on fourth and two, I’m not willing to take points off the board.

To be fair, just because you know someone topically doesn't make you guilty of anything except topically knowing someone who you didn't know was an awful monster. That being said, rumors would be enough to deter me if I had a lot to lose.
