Deuce McAllister will reportedly be available in offseason trade talks.

We?re not sure why New Orleans would want to get rid of him; Reggie Bush finished the regular season strong but hasn?t shown enough durability to be given a full-time starting job, in our opinion. McAllister would likely command at least a second-round pick as compensation.

28 years old, great history, done well this season, if he can be had for one of our second rounders and maybe a early late day pick, i'd do it.

NO is reasonably satisfied with Bush's work and his production going up as the season wore on. Probably a smart choice to deal McAllister and get some value out of him if they can. They can always find a back to backup Bush afterwards.

Worth thinking about, but remember that he'll turn 29 around Week 17 of next season. He's already had a season ending injury, and he's a dome man.

On the other hand, compensation wise, it's tailor-made for NY.

As far as RB's go, he's old and has one hurt knee. I'd rather stick with what we have or draft a young guy.

Yeah, for McAllister!!! That would be an absolute heist. What do you want to give them? A 7th rounder? Some of you are so freakin ridiculous.

I would just stay away. Remember, RBs have shortest average career in NFL. McAllister's career is probably close to the end as well. We had an aging RB sitting in the roster years ago anyway, so why bother?

28 year old runningback is like a 35 year old pitcher in baseball. You'd better be sure he's the last piece before you sign him.

Too old... we're better off looking to the draft for a RB

He'd be worth our late 2nd rounder... I wouldn't deal the early one though.

Seahawks couldn't get a 2nd rounder for Alexander a couple years ago, what makes the Saints think they will get one for Deuce.. We need a RB with FRESH legs, that can be our feature RB in the present & future. Turner or a high pick RB fits the bill, Deuce does not..

Deuce would be just fine for 2 more seasons and I'd totally use that late 2nd rounder on a back like Deuce McAllister. He's got power, can hit the whole, good 2nd effort and pretty good breakaway speed. He'd fit well in this running offense.

Some of you would rather have Cedric Houston? Gimmie a break, Deuce has proven his worth and next season will probably be 100% since he played a year after his torn ACL and will be more healthy.

    Sign me up.

No thanks. He's too old and not the guy he was 4 years ago.
