Though it didn't show in the w-l record... I think this was a good year as far as team building. C.J. Mosley 'Honored and Blessed' to Be Named Curtis Martin Team MVP Jets HC Robert Saleh Calls His LB and Defensive Captain 'an All-Pro Player and an All-Pro Human' https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/c-j-mosley-named-jets-2021-team-mvp
I find it strange that the team MVP is on the lowest-ranked defense in the league. That shows us how young the team is and that we still need to add a bunch of pieces.
I know mosley has been up and down all year and isn't great for our system, but i can't say he hasn't deserved it and here is why. 1) He's QBing a defense full of waiver pick ups, cast offs, and rookie that has been decimated with injuries 2) he's played 100% of snaps for us in 14 of 16 games and has played more snaps then anyone else on the team 3) he does have 155 tackles which is 5th in the NFL this season 4) he's 2nd all time for jets single tackle record in a season (1st was vilma with 173) He's also well respected in the locker room and well liked by the staff and teammates so ti does make sense. nobody has really "stood out" as deserving to top him
I get what you are saying but our offense has hardly lit up the room either so its not like there is much in it either way
Yeah it wasn’t full paid, nor was he “chilling”. I’m not sure if that was bad sarcasm or just a bad take.
Oh am I? Weren’t you the clown trashing the Raiders as being in a worse situation than the Jets? Starting a thread insinuating Becton might be worth a trade up to #1? What consistently bad takes have I had?
