I was perfectly happy to take a win last Sunday and be satisfied with the fact that we have had a great season...win or lose in the playoffs. Then we end up matched up with Belichick. Can I really be satisfied losing in the playoffs to that lizard-faced, ungracious, Jet-hating, HC of the NYJ-resigning, sh*tty-handshaking, f*ck-face? I'd have to say no. I could stand losing to the Colts. I can stand getting knocked out next week by the Chargers or Ravens, but no way on God's field-turf covered Earth can we lose this week to the Pats. This is our Ohio St-Michigan...our Auburn-Alabama...our USC-Notre Dame...our Yankees-Red Sox. Nothing else matters. We must win this week!!! DbJ

I hope that the patriots feel the same way as their fans and are anticipating their Baltimore game. That way when we poop on their new turf it will be that much more unexpected.

I do think I would be able to digest a loss, but it would depend on the terms. Like if the officials do to us like what they did in Cleveland, I think I would lose it - especially if it cost us a W. Or, if we played flat, and Brady beat us up alive. If we play really good football for 60 minutes and NE wins because they are the better team on that day, I could swallow it. I could live with it. I really want this Cinderella Seaason to continue thouigh. It is fun. It is a great story. And, Mangini and the way our team plays amazes me more and more each week. We are on a big upswing now; we have to feed off of that.
