We all have differing opinions on how JD should use the offseason. Some want JD to use FA to upgrade the D, and use the draft to continue building around Zach. Others want the opposite. Some are in the middle.

What do you think? What positions do you think should be addressed in FA and why?

Idk but every year we think people want to play here and we usually settle for the backup plans. JD has to be very smart here. If he thinks Schultz doesn't want to play here, he should cut bait and go hard after a backup option like Njoku. We can't walk away with nothing this year. I would continue to add veteran defenders, a TE, and OL

100% agree. I want people that want to actually play for the young Jets and not treat us as a fucking stalking horse.

We had by far the worst safety play I’ve ever seen out of the Jets in my lifetime. That position needs to be overhauled badly. There are always tons of safeties available in free agency even if we don’t sign one of the top two available.

I don’t think Schultz will be worth the money he’ll command. He’s become a bit of a unicorn around here because the tightend position for the Jets has been terrible for a decade. He had a ton of room to operate in that offense with all those receivers.

I’d rather sign Njoku and Howard than Schultz and it’ll be doable too.
