I am picturing the Jets making huge plays. It's gonna be a tough game. But I feel we will beat the pats if we can stop the run. Period. That is key.

just to get everyone a little more pumped/angry here is another post from the pats message board: Think you need a point of clarification. Pats fans don't consider the Jets their "rivals". Rivals are usually evenly matched, competitive, etc. Teams like Pittsburgh, Denver, Colts (you know . . . the teams that have actually been competing for Superbowl Championships over the past 5 or 6 years) are the Patriots' rivals. This year, you'd have to include Baltimore and San Diego. The Jets are like Jax of last year. Just a second-rate team you need to beat to get to the real playoffs.
You should have given him a box score of the last 3 times Chad played NE at NE. Jets are 2-1. Then thank him for sending us to the playoffs in 2002.
ya know, I'm a Sox fan, but this is why I hate people from Boston. For years they thought that the Yankees/Sox were a rivalry, but we NEVER won a championship. Under the same logic as he is using Sox/Yanks weren't a rivalry
