    Way back before most of you on this board were alive the NYJs played a very important game in 1969. The game was called SB3 & EVERY so called "smart" football person thought that that the NYJs had no chance of beating the big bad Colts. The "smart" Vegas people made us 18 point underdogs. Guess what we shocked the whole FB world & all those smart people who picked the Colts to win by whipping them becoming WORLD CHAMPIONs of the FB world. In watching ESPN & reading the NY newspapers I see the attitude of all those "smart" people is now exactly the same as it was way back in Jan 69. NOBODY thinks we acn beat the Pats today. So it is time once again to shocked the FB world & take Belly & the Pats down today just like we took the Colts down in 69 as it is time for us to finally sieze the moment & show everyone that we are a team not to be overlooked any longer.

    Champ, this year has been a rebirth for us old-timers.

    Mangini is the man not matter what the end score today. The flame of hope for today and next year burns hot in my veins and probably in yours too.

    Post of the week! I am SO nervous right now... but I have faith in Mangini... and I think we will give New England a fight today, whether it turns out W or L. I don't think we'll see an unprepared team like KC last night...

    Hi LV. I agree with you too! ERIC has changed my feelings about OUR team. They now resemble a professional team that is well-coached!
