Last night did matter though.. becton showed us exactly what we needed to see. Nothing else outside of that mattered.

Again, if you needed a game to find out about Becton, why wouldn't you need a game to find out about the other guys protecting Rodgers? Questions about them abound. Why wouldn't you need a game to find out if your starting OLine can run block or Pass Pro? I'm pretty sure the OLC is curious as well as the QB & OC. Would be nice to know before the real games start.

This has to be bait at this point, right?

What is there to find out about Brown, Laken, CMG, or AVT?

Well, for starters Becton can't block everybody... The only guy on that list Rodgers can count on is AVT. Hackett and the OLC had better find 3 guys that can pass pro or Rodgers won't last 17 games. Brown, Laken, CMG are all question marks from last year's debacle. One is old, the other two are barely serviceable. All 3 are a year older too. Nothing I've seen from the OL during the preseason says any of them are starting material so yeah, questions need to be answered and PDQ. Can't get those answers in one game either. Too late now. Rodgers used to know what his OL was capable of back in GB. Now? He doesn't really know who his OL is going to be. Trial by fire evidently..

Every OC we've had has been a lightning rod.

Cman, Rodgers wants two series withe the starting OL. That is huge, can’t wait.Last game of preseason and no one has any idea what the starting line up for AR will look like. This will be electric.

Agree, of all the OL that are actually playing, he was by far the best.

Isn't that exactly what they did though? No preseason reps for the starting OL or the QB until the last game of preseason?? I think it may take more than 2 series to get the OLine comfortable with Rodgers and visa versa.

it is a new system for all those guys.

It would be nice for them to all be on the field at the same time for once before the season starts, even if it is just practice.

Exactly. AR wanted a week with his starting line. Which tells me Brown will practice this week, and we will see the starting OL with Rogers on the game with the Giants. They will practice all week plus a few series (TBD)

Going to the game Saturday. The feeling going into Buffalo week 1 is going to be insane if Rodgers plays one series, drives them down the field for 7 and takes a seat on the bench the rest of the game.

I also don't really like that the Giants are playing all their backups which lets some idiot backup try and take an extra shot at Rodgers to make the team. Not ideal.

I definitely want to see Brown on the field. He hasn't played a snap of football since last year and he's 38. Becton isn't the big concern. Brown is. Hopefully he's ready to go.

Doesn't matter if Rodgers leads a score or not on Saturday. The atmosphere week one is going to be insane anyway. Already took off work Monday and Tuesday. Getting to the stadium by around 3:30 or 4:00. The parking lot will fill up fast and I don't' want to have to deal with rush hour traffic on Rt 17 getting to the stadium.

I keep thinking back to that game vs Green bay where we clinched and then that Bengals win and in game. I think this may be more than those two. It's going to be absolute mayhem. I work about 15 minutes from the stadium and get out at 2. Will probably be there around 3 as well.

Holy shit I can only imagine what the traffic will be like.

Back during the 98 season I went to the Jacksonville home playoff game. We decided to rent an RV and get there as soon as the gates opened. That was probably the most fun I've ever had tailgating. It was bitter cold outside but we had that RV for warmth and a place to take a wiz. If we ever have a home playoff game again I will do the same thing.

    Enjoy the game

Didn't they used to have a train that dropped people off right at MetLife?

Can’t decide if I should go to this game or not. Honestly, I hate Giants fans and can’t stand them. Same goes for Eagles team and their fans. That’s why I end up rooting for Cowboys in NFC East so these clown fan bases are upset.
