Have the PATS overtaken 'FINS as #1 HATED RIVAL? I say YES!

Interesting question. Since AJ Duhe (through Marino and Jason Taylor) I've hated the Dolphins. It's close now, but if Taylor retires, the Patriots are vaulted into "most hated" territory, without a doubt

 

Pats and Fins equally for me. But the pats are edging the last few years.

i still hate the phish....but yeah, the pats are in a dead heat.

better q is who is the player you hate the most? im torn because i hate taylor with a passion, and wive wished god awful things on him...but manning...oh peyton manning....how i loathe thee. the man who shunned the jets. god i hate him so.

i am so completely wrought with angst for the afc champ game because of this. my hatred for manning and never wanting him to sniff the SB has made me almost feel it would be better for the pats to go there and win (because lets face it, no nfc team is winning).....i hate him like i hate jordan....thats a lot of hate!

I don't hate on Peyton Manning. He's a good guy.

There are enough louts and louses in the league in which to direct one's hate. In the end, I don't have enough hate left over to spend on a decent person.

 

The Fish are a waste of time these days. If you are going to have a rival, make sure they are HATED! The Jets and Pats hatred is beginning to rival that of the Yankees-Red Sox. There is nothing more I want the Jets to do than knock off the Pats on their way to a championship. And I think that Mangini is just the guy to do it.

 

I actually hate Dolphins, Bills, and Patriots fans more then I actually hate the team.

 

It depends where U live! I live in FLORIDA (part time )and I hate the stinkin' Blowfish much more then the PATS!

 

Actually I did as well but reality set in which is that at least in the next few years the blowholes will be more of the doormats of the AFCE & if we want to ever get to a SB we will have to get by NE 1st so I think for now they should be our chief rivals

 

Sucks for you - I went to school in Buffalo back when Buffalo used to Almost win. So, at least in the end I got to watch them choke....

But, it was always Miami for me and now the Pats are right up there.

 

It's the pats for me, but a bit off topic.... the PLAY I hate the most is the so called fake spike. Marino gets all this credit for "fooling" the Jets.... but the DB's weren't fooled at all. The were just beaten by a quick out that Marino threw perfectly. That's what bugs me about that play... the fake spike wasn't the reason the Jets lost. I've seen that play so many times.... the fake had nothing to do with the Phins beating us that day, but they get all this credit for the wrong reason.

 

For me it's the pats too, too many recent championships when our team was a good team too.

 

By far the most hated. I can TOLERATE the Dolphins and Bills, especially being that the wife is from Miami but the Pats are in the same position to me as the Celpricks and Red SUCKS...I HATE ALL Boston/New England teams!

 

YUP - And, who the hell thought that Dan Marino wasn't going tscore there anyway.

The damage was already done.

That play gets WAY too much recognition.

 

Good thread. Tough call. Really tough. I hate Miami and New England a ton. While I don't like Buffalo, I see people eating it all the time.
