Blaming it all on coaching is utter shit, since with Wilson and two scrubs QBs we won the same number of games that we did with mighty AR. That, after completely allowing AR to run the entire show, allowed to castrate the CS and modify the offensive game plan only to suit him, to get the players he wanted, allowing to throw only to those that suited him, absolutely not playing to the team strength but only to his strength, and in so doing totally obliterate the running game and not able to kill the clock since a blind man would know by the formation when we were going to run the ball. The offense was 1000% tailored to AR and amounted to below average crap incapable of getting a first down when needed. Best move ever by AG and Mooge and dont give two shits how AR does in steel town. Why would any new coach worth a shit put up with that crap for a year and then start over? I just hope we play loose and tough and give them hell on game one. Run the ball down their throats with impunity, open up their D with long bombs, and rush the QB on every fucking play. 1) The coaching staff was even worse than the past year especially after Woody replaced Saleh with Ulbrich 2) The FG kicker cost the Jets multiple games You can try and pin it all on Aaron Rodgers and ignore the rest of the team. (Even though that logic is completely ridiculous) However if its 100% on Rodgers then the Steelers should win no more than 5 games because under your logic 100% of the record is directly attributed to Rodgers and not the rest of the team/coaches. Therefore Rodgers going to Pittsburgh means that the Steelers record will be 100% attributed to Rodgers as well. So if Rodgers is 100% attributed to 5 wins in 2024 then the Steelers should only win 5 games in 2025 as well because the rest of the team/coaching staff is completely irrelevant to the overall record because the only thing that matters to the record is Aaron Rodgers. He is the be all, end all no matter where he plays based on your logic. So lets talk in 8 months from now and see what Rodgers does since 100% of the record is dependent on him from your logic so he should only win 5 games in Pittsburgh.

Schefter said today that Rodgers was the Steelers 3rd choice. They couldn’t retain Fields and they then tried to trade for Stafford before settling for Rodgers But the funny thing is they were probably Rodgers 3rd choice too

First off- we don’t have a bonafide playoff roster. Rodgers does not take us from being a playoff team to a SB capable team. He maybe makes us a WC possibility. Maybe. Secondly, the drop off in play after 40 years old is exponential each year. They typically don’t just slowly get worse. Judging by all the offseason “issues” Rodgers himself said he had to get in order before getting ready for football, I really don’t think AR spent this offseason focused 100% on being ready to play football this year. Plus he’s learning an entirely new offense. My prediction is AR doesn’t make it through the season, and I don’t think he’s going to be all that great when he does play.
It was the right move for the Jets in my opinion. Rodgers doesn't fit with the effort to rebuild the culture. Rodgers might be great with the Steelers, but that won't change my opinion.
The problem you seem to have is that AR changed theplays at the LOS every time and you saw the results. He couldn't win games he should have and did absolutely nothing to elevate his team.... as LA stated.
