I actually voted for the Jets in this one. I looked at the schedule and this is the only POSSIBLE win this season. I've watched New Orleans and Kamara is going to shred this defense. I barely give the Jets a 50/50 chance against Carolina. So, I figured I'd get my one Jets vote in.
Fields in, JJ out, Darren Waller playing for the first time in years against the Jets in primetime. We all know how this goes. I don’t think it’s even going to be particularly close. Our D has a severe lack of talent and so far, has been poorly coached. Don’t care if Tua’s brain is scrambled eggs, he’s gonna be able to complete passes underneath and their WRs/RBs are good enough to take it to the house.
Until we show we can actually stop somebody, I won’t believe it Dolphins will get their first win, and we will be embarrassed on Monday Night…no way we are going to contain those two WRs I’d be SHOCKED if Wilks can conceive and implement a game plan that stops those guys. I think we lose and I don’t think it’ll be particularly close
We have to win this game. All excuses about tough schedule and other bullshit no longer apply. Miami is a 0-3 dysfunctional team and their coach very likely will be fired if they go 0-4. It's time for Glenn to step up. This is the time to do it. Having AG's rookie coach year effectively end literally 3 weeks and 1 day after it started more than likely means he is a Gase level coach. Sure, we can say it is only 4 games, but it is effectively the end of the 2025 season. I just do not see this ending well for him in that scenario. We need to get this game one way or another to have some sort of realistic hope alive.
Yep Glenn basically already on the hot seat if they lose this week. The seasons over at 0-4. Zero excuse to be 0-4 especially when 2 games were winnable and this game against the Dolphins is against an 0-3 team.
Agreed with the second part, but he will not be on hot seat even if they go 0-4. Chances are, unless we win like 1 or 2 games all year, he will get a second season. Heck he might even get if we go 0-17. But for me, unless there will be some sort of miracle turnaround later, it's very hard to see this regime succeeding if the 1st season is already over 3 weeks after it started. This would be very similar to Gase: yes he won some meaningless games in the end to hurt our draft position, but it was clear after the 1st year he had to go. I do hope this will not be the case for AG and we will get our 1st win on Monday though.
Glenns doing a good job changing the culture. Instead of being eliminated in October or November we are now eliminated in September. What a great job by the fake tough guy that talked all off-season about changing culture.
It only took us to week 3 to get to #1. We have the easiest remaining schedule for all the basement teams. Only NE is easier because they got us twice. I think the phins will start winning more and our competition will be the saints/titans.
NFL putting JETS-MIA on at 7:15 on cable while Bengals-Broncos get 8pm broadcast tv is all you need to know what they think of this game...
Stink. How can I, a lowly Jets Season Ticket Holder watch this game at home? Do I have to buy some licensing shit from another streaming service I won't watch for any other reason?
Then all those guys who have been whining for an experienced head coach from the offensive side of the ball will finally get what they've been whining about for years.
Well I’m looking forward to the game the optimistic view is that we lost two close games and we played three playoff teams the pessimistic view is that our defense still sucks, our QB sucks, we only have one WR, and we continue to make stupid plays and draw too many penalties…like The Who said…meet the new boss…same as the old boss so this week is great…another winless team so competition takes a step down We will find out a lot about who we are…are we a team that’s close and lost two heartbreakers or are we a team that still sucks we’ll see tomorrow
