Top to bottom. Just weak all over. There's not a strong position group on this team. I thought the Steelers game might have been about as good as we should expect from this team and unfortunately they are demonstrating exactly that.
I wanted to give it til week 4 . Hoping to see progress . This ain’t it. Should have paid breece instead of sauce. He’s the only player worth mentioning on this team. I don’t see this staff making it very far, ever. Unfortunately , it will take woody 3 years to realize
They’d win if they could cut penalties and turnovers in half. You know, the difference between good and bad football teams.
Let's not forget getting back to football basics and learn how to tackle. That would be super helpful too.
We just don't have the talent to compete. We have names, but we don't have the talent. Time for a Roster purge and I'm talking names too. There should be NO untouchables on this team.
One of the worst rosters in the NFL that is also extremely poorly coached. Tack on a few injuries and this is what you get. I wish I could say I was surprised but I’m not at all. I thought our ceiling was six wins if perfectly healthy and things even went kind of well. I’ll stick with my four win total and I don’t think they come until November earliest.
Poorly coached. It's dificult to evaluate the talent. They really don't throw to any receiver not named Garret Wilson and when they do it's usually short crap routes that don't threaten the defense. I don't know what we have at WR beside Wilson I haven't seen them play enough. How bad the protection looks against pressure packages to me points to poor coaching. I could go on and on. I don't think these players are that bad but these coaches don't believe in them.
Zero progress from week 1. Zero changes being made. I'm already done with this coaching staff. It won't get any better. It's okay to start rough, but not inept. They're actually worse than last year. I've been watching the Jets since 1994. I've been through the Kotite years. This is worse than Kotite by a long shot. This isn't the growing the pains of a young team; this is team going nowhere. Aaron Glenn, God bless him and I appreciate what he did for the team as a player, is not the right guy for the job. They need to be done with him by the end of the year.
You clearly haven't been a Jets fan long enough....it's been dark since 1969. I'm starting to think there's no such thing as dawn...or sun. All kidding aside, it's astonishing that no matter who the GM is or who the coach is, it's the same thing perpetually. Bad players, bad coaching, stupid penalties, turnover galore and no way to fix it. Who knows, maybe when Joe Willie passes (not that I would wish that on him) our curse will be lifted. He had to sell the soul of this franchise in 69 to win that Superbowl. It's the only logical explanation.
They missed the chance to do this last year. The team should have had a fire sale around the trade deadline and accumulated draft picks. Not that this regime would have used them wisely, but that's another story.
They just have so much stink. Players that shouldn't have the roles they do and just need to go. Adams, Clemons, sherwood to an extent, their entire linebacker core basically. The jets manage the safety position like it's 2007. It's a more important position in today's game and they put no one there and it's a big reason the secondary sucks.
Sauce is the most penalized guy in football..what?? Our kick returners have gotten worse since Xavier Gipson You just have to hope for two things, they can hold on enough to keep Garrett Wilson happy and the OL stays healthy. Breece does look a step slower to me and Sauce is extrmly overrated, do think you try and part with those guys and do a full rebuild. We missed the boat.
Why am I starting to believe that Aaron Glenn is just another guy with a good line of shit who can't back it up? Discipline and accountability, my ass.
