Did someone get touched inappropriately? That tweet has a very Worst Day at the Airport vibe.

For those who missed it there was a discussion between Glenn and Wilson when Wilson came off the field after his late touchdown; it was quite animated on Wilson's part and followed by only a couple of minutes an announcer's statement that Wilson had been heard yelling towards the sideline to just throw him the ball, when he got few chances before that.

To me it looked like it could have served as a wake up call to Glenn that his offensive staff was leaving his best chance to put points up somewhere below where he should have been in favor of a coaching decision to stay with a predetermined philosophy.

 

I think Hughes was making a joke because they got awfully close and cuddly. Who knows. Hughes is a weird guy

 

I often feel like Andy Reid (with Bill Walsh as his OC and Buddy Ryan as his DC) would fail to deliver for the Jets - there is just something about this franchise. I used to think it was me but my soccer team finally won a cup after 70 years (and losing multiple cup finals) last year so I know it must be something else.

 

32 penalties in 4 games. -7 turnover ratio in 4 games. That’s coaching.

Don't worry everyone! I have good news!

I just watched the post-game press conference, and Aaron Glenn said that they were going to "go back to work"! Apparently this is how you solve all the problems with a team, which he made abundantly clear because he said they were going to "go back to work" numerous times, over and over.

I for one am very grateful as a fan that the Jets as a team will "go back to work". After all, this is why we are fans: We want a team that will "go back to work".

Well, if you will all excuse me, I need to "go back to work". I hope there are several updates today that highlight the Jets were successful in their efforts to "go back to work".

I think it's kinda funny, Jets fans are outraged everywhere today, like last night they just realized how bad this team is!!

 

I always knew this was not a bad team. Last night was just the first time that the Head Coach pissed me off.

 

I’d also add 2 fumbles on kick returns in 4 games. And then even in high school we were told on returns to stand on our 5 yard line and if the ball goes over our head just let it go. That’s basic stuff…you don’t fair catch on the 2 yard line.

This is basic stuff

 

On if Glenn lost/is losing the locker room = Who gives a fuck? 80% of that roster would be gone tomorrow if they could actually pull it off. Z-E-R-O problem losing a locker room full of CFL caliber players

On the Penalties being on coaching = No one will ever convince me that penalties are a coaching issue outside of the discipline handed out for constantly being penalized. These are fucking men and they KNOW what in the fuck they are supposed to be doing and not. They don't need a wet nurse coming by to wipe their asses on every play. If you are on offense you don't fucking move until the ball is snapped and you don't fucking hold on every other play!! If you are on defense keep your fucking hands off the receivers, late fucking hits 3 seconds after the god damn play has ended, watch the fucking ball (if you are on the line) so you don't jump off MOTHER F'n sides and, holy shit, stop getting the BULLSHIT after the whistle personal fouls because you can't control your fucking selves.

On turnovers being on coaching = Again, here, if you are a constant turnover machine then the PUNISHEMENT handed down is on the coaching. If you have a fucking fumbling problem then FIX it! If one hand isn't capable of holding on to the damn ball then use BOTH!

I watched the look on Aaron Glenn's face. I studied it. At this point, the man can only tell these other MEN, who have been playing this game ALL their lives, only so many times before you literally ask yourself, "what more can I say?" They do NOT have the luxury of "Gipson'ing" or benching the whole god damn team and the talent level is what it is. I feel for Glenn a little bit but he HAD to know this was going to be a fucking nightmare. He's walking into a KNOWN shit show organization and it's quite clear he has inherited a shit ton of dumb ass mother fuckers who can't seem to get out of their own way on the penalty front.

Having said that, Wilks needs to be fired, yesterday. I don't give a shit if they promote the water boy at this point. I swear...there was a fucking missed tackle on EVERY-SINGLE-GODDAMN-SNAP!!!! Every one! EVERY ONE!!!!! The scheme is shit, he has Z-E-R-O idea of when to use man and when to use zone. Players are LINING UP out of position and ENDING UP on their asses or 10 yards away from the fucking play. If this team encounters a REAL fucking RB they are going to get shredded nine times worse than they already are! Glenn should KNOW better! He, of all people, should have a top 15 defense and that's WITH CFL caliber players. Not fucking around with bottom 5. I've had absolutely 100% "IT" with this defense and that was 2 fucking games ago! The 0-3 Miami Dolphins just handled the NY Jets like they didn't belong on the same field. And I don't give a rats ass whether it was a talent differential, play execution, penalties or whatever. Their offense moved the ball AT WILL! AFTER Hill went down! (I hope he's ok but heard he shredded everything in his knee)
On the defense, COACHING heads need to roll, fucking NOW!

The only advice I have for the Offense is this: Tanner, start calling the fucking games on an even keel. They are already getting their asses torn to shreds, who gives a fuck if they fumble or Fields tosses a pick! The result is the same! Open the fucking thing up! This bullshit of coddling "whomever" because they can't throw the ball or whatever can kiss my ass. Play the fucking game!! Quit bullshitting around! I don't want to hear one more fucking word about being a "ground and pound" offense because of............ You THROW the ball when you want/need to and you run the ball when you want/need to. Fuck, if I see one more fucking handoff on a 3rd and 8 because their "afraid" to throw the ball I'm going to slap someone. Time is up baby...start rolling those heads.

 

There's an argument that AG should get fired for having Braelon run back KO's. Just f'in idiotic.
