I know that I can only speak for myself, but it almost feels like the passion that has been slowly drained from our fandom over the last decade plus is maybe, just maybe, creeping its way back.

The fight is there. It appears that the players have fully bought in to AG’s vision and those who perhaps did not, are no longer on the team.

One thing is for certain; the ending of the movie that we’ve seen over and over again of the Jets letting their opponent march down the field and score with under 2 minutes left and win, was finally rewritten.

It may only be for one week, but it’s good to feel something again.

    You see flashes for sure

3-2 in the last 5 games, less bonehead mistakes. Aggressive and resilient. You can see the blueprint here

This is accurate and that’s with the defense being pretty bad the entire year. We’ve had competent play maybe 3-4 games, no picks, one turnover, mostly non existent pass rush. Imagine if we could do these things at even league average level?

These boys are fighting. We have a ton of underpaid first contracts dawgs on the roster and we’re about to infuse the roster with four more+ in the draft.

It feels different because there's a belief in the bldg. that they can compete and win as long as Tyrod Taylor is on the field. This squad looks completely different than the 0-7 trainwreck Fields Qb'd.

It’s obvious this team is a good QB away from being successful.

My other concern is DC, I think the Jets need to find another DC, Wilks is just not scheming this defense into success. For a coach to have that much experience in NFL and defense can’t generate turnovers is concerning. I know Jets need a couple more impact players but I think a better DC would scheme some success into this defense.

Wilks' resume is what got him hired. I think Glenn wanted an experienced voice on the staff to bounce ideas off. Wilks was a HC once and the only member of Glenn's staff ever to sit in the big chair. That being said, Wilk's unit has suddenly become the weak link on the team. They're too small on the DL, too slow in the middle and too inexperienced in the secondary. Wilk's simplistic game plans are easily picked apart and although the Jets play hard, against the more sophisticated offenses they get shredded.

Glenn might be too stubborn to admit Wilks is not the right guy. Took him forever to admit to himself that Fields was NOT the guy and it took a national embarrassment to force him to change.

Time will tell. Upside is I think neither guy is in the bldg. in '27. We can only hope.

I'm not sure how seriously to take this "resurgence" (the three wins were against the Burrow-less Bengals, the Browns, and the Penix-less Falcons, after all), but I think it's clear that, if nothing else, Glenn has the team playing hard in the second half of an unsuccessful season, and that is to his credit.

Its 2025, not 2010. That era is long gone with all the rule changes favoring the offense. Rex is exactly where he need to be. On the TV set and not the sidelines.

Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers is throwing teammates under the bus in postgame pressers. Don’t miss that.

Wilks might not be here come 2027 but Glenn will almost certainly be. Woody, for better or worse (and it's certainly the latter), made a multi-year commitment to Glenn when he allowed the fire sale to happen at the deadline.

Aaron Glenn is starting to grow on me...

We still have a long way to go... but as the OP said... players look like they're buying what the coaches are selling.

The next three games are winnable... on paper at least. Let's see how the team finishes up the season.

Wouldn’t you rather hope Glenn works out and we aren’t restarting again in 2 years?
