If that happens, the Jets should just fold up shop and move to Europe and become a soccer franchise or something. Only the Jets could have, in their history, more receivers catch a Super Bowl winning TD pass for another team in the same year they were on the Week 1 roster of the Jets than actual members of the New York Jets scoring a TD in the Super Bowl.
That's genius. Status quo says they will net another quarter billion next year and the franchise value will rise almost twice that. Sure, just fold it up.
The only negative that Woody Johnson suffers when the Jets lose is public embarrassment. Like that's it. It's not possible for the Jets to fold.
