He's got little kids and a wife at home he never gets to see for 7-8 months of the year. Its okay, only Mort says he's burned out. Sounds more like he has his priorities in order, if you ask me.

Come on I am sure there are numerous sites to see, like the trailer parks, Denny's, BBQ joints, movie theaters, horse/cow farms.

That sure as hell beats the Resorts, Beachs with the gorgeous women and Zagat reated restaurants of Hawaii any day.

I don't think alot of people realize how tough it is to have little kids and not be around because of work... It can be completely heartbreaking especially at his kids age... 7-8 months not being around you miss so much in their development...

My opinion is he earned his time off and I have no doubt he and Tanny will be completely prepared for the draft... I don't think the Senior Bowl's gonna make one bit of difference

This isn't good. I hope he can find a way to rest up and in the future delegate responsibilities. But I think he is very hands on and just cannot do that. :eek:hmy:

I don't think Jetfighter was referring to burned out in the Dick Vermeil sense; Tannenbaum used the word "burned" himself, so it wasn't pulled out of thin air.

Tannenbaum and no doubt the entire scout staff and a few position coaches were there. I know they film every one on one drill ,every 7 on 7, and the game. Interviews are done at the combine which of course Mangini will attend in Feb. Burned out..please. Mortenson is a moron

Hmm. Having a 2-week vacation once a year is burned out? Surely that's NORMAL? How many of you guys work 365 days without at least 14 days holiday?

yeah i dont know why other people made excuses for this.

hes the HC, he needs to be at the senior bowl watching these players and talking to them. but, no, he'll go watch cinderella man on his couch.

i dont like this, 1st offseason as a head coach, he should be intrigued, excited, and already calculating the next move. but alas, poor eric doesnt feel like it.

now dont call me some negative asshole or anything, the guy deserves a break, but i find it odd in his first offseason people make it sound like this is an established coach. this season is his true test, and he shouldve been studying for it at the senior bowl.

What, are we in a court of law? Objection denied!

The reason I titled it "Mangini burned out" is because Tannenbaum said "he burned it pretty hard going back to the day he was hired." Seems therefore, like an appropriate title. Be careful or I'll have you dis-barred.
