Ravens | J. Lewis to be released Thu, 15 Feb 2007 08:52:02 -0800 Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens are expected to release RB Jamal Lewis before he is due a $5 million roster bonus in March. If the Ravens cut Lewis, they are expected to save $3.3 million in salary cap room.
Don't really see that. Jacobs is already their "hammer". If they aren't going to give Jacobs a shot at feature back, the'd bring in a more shifty guy than Lewis.
I could see him going to one of the following... - Cleveland Browns - Pittsburgh Steelers - Houston Texans - Atlanta Falcons Anyone else on that list of possible teams?
Because that most directly effects him on the field right? C'mon dude, you gotta come up with something better then that horseshit.
is there anyone in the NFL that you guys would take, and not try to ridecule, the guy is good, everyone has a downside, pointing it out isn't necessary, I would love for this guy to be a jet.... can i see it happening....no....but would I love it if it did..
His stats are good. I like them. Team him up with Jacobs and he should be dead nice. I am still doubting him.
he was good @ one time....but i think 2 many carriers and injuries.....i'll pass...shame though i really liked him and he's running style
What? Anyway, he has a lot of downsides. His production has been down. He's injury prone. He's not very fast and he's been around for a while. He really isn't close to what he used to be.
I think he ends up in GB since I dont think Favre would want to have rely upon a young RB like Lynch or someone from the draft and rather get a known guy like Lewis. That and it means that Jarrett or Ginn Jr would go to the Packers in the 1st round.
I could definately see him going to the Browns or Texans. Especially the Browns, a divsion rival, so he could have the oppurtunity to get back at his former team. The Texans seem to be in decent position to land Adrian Peterson, which I think will be more appealing to them because they want to give their fans the franchise back they should've taken last year.
I think Cleveland will get to Peterson first. If he has solid workouts at the combine, I'm sure Cleveland will take him.
