We'll see, Junc, I mean Sigma...

Let's keep this thread in mind come draft day. One of us will be right, (me), and the other will be wrong, (you). Of course, if I'm wrong, I've already gone on record in countless threads that I will kick the first cat I come across.

    :)

Koz, this isn't really about right or wrong, nor is it about picking Olsen.

the way i see it, you're set on Blalock and that's it. but what if Blalock is there along with Jarrett, or Jarvis Moss, or Aaron Ross, or Carriker. then is it still an easy decision to take Blalock over any one of those guys? we can find a RG in the 2nd round, you know.

    cheers

Sir Dawg, I'm in complete agreement that there is no right and wrong, as I admitted on the prior page. Believe me, I'm definitely not sold on Blalock over any of the other guys mentioned above, so long as they fill a need, especially true of someone like Carriker (if he fell that far) and Ross...

Value is relative to Need. Example, suppose Jon Beason is the BPA(which is THEORETICAL to begin with...) at 25 ?

    Do we draft him ?

It has to be BPA that fits our system, I don't think Beason fits our system so no we don't draft him. Look at the Rams a couple years ago, they had Marshall Faulk at RB still, yet didn't hesitate to take Steven Jackson when he started to slip. It wasn't a major need at the time but he was clearly the BPA and it has worked out pretty darn well for the Rams, not missing a beat when Faulk was injured and eventually retired, Now theyt have one of the best Rbs in the game.

In our case, the only positions I am discarding are C & FS, the only two that we have a young stud already set.
