Commercial features the largest contingent of NFL stars to ever participate in a Chunky soup ?Mama?s Boys? campaign, in addition to a combination of their real-life moms.

Eight of the NFL?s most elite athletes, including LaDainian Tomlinson (San Diego Chargers), Jonathan Vilma (New York Jets), Larry Johnson (Kansas City Chiefs), Maurice Jones-Drew (Jacksonville Jaguars), DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys), Devin Hester (Chicago Bears), Todd Heap (Baltimore Ravens) and Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle Seahawks), returning for his second year as a ?Campbell?s Chunky? spokesman, will be featured, along with their moms, in this season?s advertising campaign.

The commercial will be shot in Toronto on Thursday, April 26, 2007.

The campaign marks the ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup brand?s tenth consecutive season sponsoring the NFL and will once again play on the popular ?Mama?s Boys? theme. The campaign will feature a combination of the NFL players? real-life moms serving ?Chunky? soup to their sons to help satisfy their NFL sized hunger. In addition to the eight NFL players featured in the campaign, ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup will also continue relationships with the players? teams throughout the course of the 2007-2008 NFL season.

All eight athletes will be featured in television advertising set to debut early in September at the start of the NFL season. The eight NFL stars follow in the footsteps of past ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup spokesmen and NFL greats, including Donovan McNabb, Reggie White, John Elway, Terrell Davis, Jerome Bettis, and Brian Urlacher, among others.

?With our biggest roster of NFL players, we anticipate an exciting year with the NFL,? said David Allard, Brand Manager, ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup. ?The eight NFL players are truly a perfect fit for the ?Chunky? brand ? good and hearty!?

The campaign will feature two new barbecue inspired varieties called ?Chunky? Southwestern Chicken and Three Bean Grilled Pork. The ads will also include the trademark ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup message, ?It fills you up right?.? Creative for the campaign is being handled in the U.S. and in Canada by Young & Rubicam, New York.

All NFL players participating in the ?Campbell?s Chunky? soup campaign were secured by PLAYERS INC, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association.

Since many people actually feel that we should trade him you can see why I thought you were serious.

They should have him blind-siding McNabb's Mom and then have him pouring the soup over McNabb's head......

Yes. I have some serious digust for the Eagles and for that matter the entire city of Philadelphia..

Bah, primetime is so overdone. Seeing Jon Vilma chowing on some Corn Chowder is the pinnacle of success. Now we're in the big leagues, baby.
