I called Curt Schilling Ketchup sock after his "bloody sock" incident and now there is some proof that it was closer to ketchup than blood. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0WTTkj60...2007-04-26-thorne-schilling-sock_N.htm?csp=34
Well, that created an international incident between Boston and Baltimore which is fine with me. Also makes Mirabelli look guilty even if he isn't. Let them have a war and maybe both won't be thinking about us when we play them.
While this development is funny for amusment's sake, I don't doubt that it was actual blood at the time. If anyone recalls, it was one of most disgusting things short of a compound fracture on-field in the history of sports. The spot grew as the game went on. If someone has developed paint that does that, I'd love to know. It would finally get me to paint the apartment like my wife's been demanding for years.
He'll never get over 2004 plus Gary Thorne is an idiot who should be doing NHL games not baseball. http://www.baseballmusings.com/archives/020393.php The injury(might cause sickness) http://bostondirtdogs.boston.com/Headline_Archives/2004/11/warning_large_g.html
I am ove the flke of 2004, I have 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000 to fall bakc on plus every other year we have beaten Boston out in the standings(in case you didn't know it has been '96-current)
I never thought it was blood, it doesn't matter b/c Boston won but I never thought it was blood. I hate schilling but I love Schilling, I admire his big game toughness but that wasn't blood on his sock.
Why do Sox fans think one fluke trumps a centurt of dominance? We have beaten you out for the div title in the 2 years since then, it wasa tough loss but I'll take one of those over 86 years of futility, wouldn't you? especiall when the Sox have a history of their own colossal chokes.
I never said anything about dominance.....but I (and 90% of people outside of New York) love that the Red Sox won it while the Yankees imploded. Posting that crap is only looking to start trouble.
And what "proof" is there? This asshole broadcaster who has enough trouble calling a hockey game, let alone a baseball game.
cause most of us have moved on or didn't live or gave a shit about baseball in the 20th century. World Series titles in the 21st century Red Sox 1 Yankees 0 just for fun 2007: Sox swept the Yankees and are 4.5 games ahead of them and the Yankees are in last
