I see your point. Not trying to argue with you. But I'm pretty sure that, if it's just you and a friend going to the game, option 2 would save you at least $150. Yeah, you'd have to park farther away and show up to the game about an hour earlier than you would otherwise. That's worth $150 to me. And, again, I know this season will be popular but, because scalper buy so many tickets and because so many seats are corporate owned, I think there will be plenty of tickets available.

For me, it comes down to just not wanting to make the 90 minute-2 hour drive without knowing for sure that I have tickets. I also am not willing to miss the beginning of the game.

I'd rather spend some more money and get tickets in advance. I don't go to games that often so it is worth it for me.

I could see doing the scalper thing if you live fairly close by and want to go to games a lot.

The raiders playoff clincher game last year was about 60 dollars on stubhub. I don't know how that fares in comparision to the other avenues, but i thought that was a pretty good deal. I forget the section and the actual value of the tickets though.

Face is/was $70 in most cases. As the buyer you got a bargain, the seller not only loses $10 off face, they pay StubHub a commission, I think 15%. Still better than eating the tickets or getting busted selling them.
