    Is there any story about how you wound up with uniform No. 25 with the Jets?

    There?s no history. I was No. 1 in college. The numbers here are pretty much predetermined. I ended up with the ugliest number ever, 37, so I had to wait a couple weeks until we released a player, which is not good, so I got his number. I liked it. I liked the way it looked.

    What will you be doing during the break before training camp?

    We?ll still be here. We got weightlifting for, like, three more weeks. I?ll still be here.

    Do you and LB Jonathan Vilma compete to make the most plays on the field during the season?

    We don?t actually think about that going into a season. If we both talk about that at the end of the season, we both have good health and we?re both playing well.

    How will training camp under head coach Eric Mangini this year be different than last year?

    The only different thing is the familiarity with each other. We know what to expect from him. He knows what to expect from us, pretty much, for the players that have been here. It?s the rapport between coach and player that we know what to expect.

    That'd be really funny if the guy actually asked the same question twice and then Kerry responded the same exact way...

    Me;
    So Kerry , my friend DaBallhawk on TGG would like to know if you're going to aim to get to the pro bowl next season , are you and what do you think you have to do?

    Kerry;
    Yep , I'm going to go to the Pro bowl next season , thats my aim anyway , just to improve on last year.
    You know I thought I did do enough last year, so I guess this year I'll need at least 12 ints , 15 FF , 200+ Ts and at least 5 of those Ints returned for TDs , maybe that will do?
