I can not disagree but this guy is horrible prognosticator and besides after last year who cares what the so called experts think. Damm, I am ready.

    11. New York Jets: The AFC East will be the best division in football this year, and it's going to be very tough for New York to go 10-6 again. Two impact players on defense in the draft -- cornerback Darrelle Revis and linebacker David Harris -- will help. Revis may not win Defensive Rookie of the Year, but I think he'll be the most impactful first-year defensive player in the league, even if he doesn't start from day one.

I was surprised that King didn't put Pats at #1. He's such a homer.

I have some issues with this list.

The Bears at 5??? I think it is very unlikely the bears will have nearly the success they had last year and to have them over Denver, Baltimore and Philly, I just don't know. I mean they lost Thomas Jones (woo hoo), Tank, the Briggs situation and Grossman of course.

Detroit at 13...i know he feels detroit will have a good year, as shown by his QB ranking that had Kitna as the 8th best, but come on, ahead of Dallas and the Bengals and even Carolina.

I also think the 49ers should be higher than 22 and they will have a good year.

    my top 10 would be

1 Pats (how can you not)
    2 Colts
    3 SD
    4 NO
    5 Broncos
    6 Baltimore
    7 Philly
    8 Seattle
    9 Bears
    10 Jets

The Cardinals and 49ers will both be better than Detroit this season.

11 is an okay spot for the Jets, but they could be higher.

And PF4 is right, I am shocked New England isn't #1. The year King doesn't look like a homer putting them at #1, he doesn't do it.

Where's all the love for Denver coming from? Their choking away a playoff spot last year? Travis Henry? They're not significantly better than a year ago when they simply weren't good enough.

If somebody were to rank all of the reporters Peter King would be near the bottom.

Travis Henry is good enough to get 1300 yds in Denvers system and i think people figure that Jay Cutler will really develop in his second year, plus they added Stokley and David Terrell and Pat Ramsey (ha) and resigned most of their defensive players.

It's because of Cutler. King is a Cutler guy. He has looked very good early on, I will say that. Plus they signed a nice tight end for him to throw to.

i like him but i think he complains too much. he seems like a very conservative guy, as he complained about all the violence in The Departed and today in the same article as the qb rankings blamed America's problems on the Nathan's Hot Dog contest

Denver's o-line is crap, it is not what it used to be and they did nothing to fix it. It is not the system, it is the line.

Then you were fortunate enough not to see Detroit at 13.

I had thought he was a Giants fan at one time. I don't think he has a true favorite team now, but who knows.
