I prefer the 'Pasts', it's more fitting to their accomplishments.

For me, personally, being a Jets fan is like Christmas. Every year I see the wrapping, shake the box, get excited, and some years I open it up and get something pretty good, and other years I find a pair of lumpy wool socks.

Someday I'll open that box and get what I've always wanted.

You might as well be a Dolphins fan for all that it matters.

being a jets fan to me is in my blood, my grandfather got season tickets in 1961 and he died before i was born and gave my dad the tickets and even though we live far apart, we still meet up and goto games, like the opoener this year, it also means that every sunda even when i am not with them i know my family is doing the same thing as me, saying thje same stuff, its a connection unlike any other

Being a Jets fan is like being a Mets fan. I happen to be both. I live for pain.

Being a JETS fan is the anti-front-runner fan. I just hope to see us win a championship before I die. I was only 9 when we won our first and only .
If you are a LONG TIME JETS fan..... your thirst is as dry as my throat.

You could have used a figurehead that made a little more sense than Abe.
He would have been a "wagons" fan, at any rate.

I don't necessarily agree with everyone, but I do agree with the fact that we are all starved for a Super Bowl victory.

I like how you quoted the GPC.

My friend, if you are going to come around here and defend every patriots insult, you are going to be a busy man. I myself have insulted the patriots three times today. So pick your spots. This thread should have no interest to you because you and your compatriots in NE have no conception of loyalty and suffering. When the well runs dry and BillB no longer has his magic, the masses of New Englanders will disappear. I've been green my whole life. 1-15 or division champion. Doesn't matter. We know we're in for failure and disappointment but the devotion to this team trumps anything that fate can throw at us. Your fans only wish you could show the same.

It is ironic that your team name is named after loyal soldiers of our nation, when your fanbase has historically had no loyalty at all.

being a jets fan is being under the radar and then hitting your ass with a heatseeking missile when your not looking.

That's an even dumber answer to an already stupid question. 90% of the people on this board are from NY and the surrounding area.

When ever I think what it is like to be a Jets fan I think of the immortal line from Rocky 3 made by Clubber Lang when asked about his prediction for the coming fight................. Pain!
