Mangini said Stuckey has been put on IR. Its the same foot hurt in college, just a different injury to it.
These Clemson guys, i tell ya! (Stuckey and Miller) I doubt he was going to see any time in these first few weeks early anyway so let him heal and if anyone goes down he will be ready
No loss at the moment. Wide receiver is the last position the Jets need to worry about for 2007. Maybe they can use his spot on the roster to bring a big guy in on the offensive line. They still only have 8 guys on the roster who play on thel ine.

Agreed. Stucky was #5 at best on the depth Chart. We still have Coles, Cotchery, McCareins, Smith, and Wright. WR depth is not a problem. Not happy the Kid is hurt, but not worrisome for the Jets.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets brought up Brett Ratliff to the main roster now with Chad's injury. I wonder if they would consider looking at Leftwich at all if they think Chad's injury is VERY serious?

Leftwich wouldn't come here. There's too many other places like the Giants where he'd have a better chance to play.

I bet Stuckey's not really injured. I bet they knew he wouldn't get much time this year, but wanted to amke sure he wasn't stolen off the PS, so they put him on IR. That's my guess.
No, IR = Cannot play prior to week 8. After that they are placed on the PUP List which is physically unable to play list.
