What do you think talking about Scott Kazmir three fucking years after the fact is? I couldn't give a shit but I don't want to hear it anymore from the Yankee fans that only the Mets fans troll the Yankee threads.

LOL I would seriously like to see that... But I think we got a better chance to watch the Jets game in peace if the Mets lost the first two games and the Phillies won the first two games...

So saying Scott Kazmir shouldn't have been traded is comparable to "Derek Jeter is ARod's boytoy"?

Give me an F'n break. I've been rooting for your team all year, but it's times like this when I feel like it's just not worth it.

Anyway, you're getting in the playoffs. It's ridiculous to think you're going home after this weekend.

Ok, my bad. Kaz was pitching against the Yanks last night and Sterling and Waldman went on about it forever and I picked up the cue. I know, no excuses. Still you may be too young to remember, but the Yankees practically invented the art of trading away promising young prospects for stiffs. Al Leiter for Jesse Barfield? Jay Buhner for Ken Phelps? Jose Rijo for a box of laundry detergent?

How about Nolan Ryan for Jim Fregosi if you want to talk about bad trades.

Yes it is the same thing, we are in the middle of watching our team suffer the worst loss of the season and biggest regular season collapse in major league history and at least three times a Yankee fans has brought up Scott Kazmir in a joking fashion. It is not what is said but how and when it is said that makes it the same thing.

Like I said, it doesn't bother me, well last night it did but through out that game everything bothered me, especially the Mets. It's not ridiculous at all to think the Mets are going home after this weekend, they just lost 5 of 6 to the Nats giving up 32 runs while getting swept by them in the heat of a pennant race, then following that up by getting shutout in the biggest game of the year. It is alot more ridiculous to think that they can win 3 in a row at this point. I really hope you are right though..

How is someone saying you should not have traded Kazmir while your team is losing in any way similar to someone saying something along the lines of "Jeter takes ARod Deep" while the Yankees are on an 8 game win streak?

The twisted logic of Mets fans, I guess...It's always okay when it's you. (Not you particularly, but you in the general sense.)

Again though, you'll be in the playoffs. Either way, it will disgust me to no end if Mets fans are spending time trying to piss off Yankees fans in our threads. Mind your own team, win or lose. We'll worry about ours.

When one fan goes into the other fans thread just to mock it doesn't matter what is said, it still has the same result. Sure, "Jeter takes Arod deep" is a more immature comment but the point of those comments was to mock just as the Kazmir comments were.

I understand your point. I can't speak for the poster who did it, obviously, but I didn't think it was really meant to mock that much. Kazmir is an absolute gem. I actually stopped watching the Yankee game last night when he came out. He ended his season as the league leader in Ks.

Anyway, I'm really hoping the normal Mets fans don't decide to poison the Yankees threads unnecessarily. The vast majority of us respect you guys. We just want the same respect returned.

The fact that it came up at least 3 times last night led me to believe it was for the purpose of mocking. I can't rule out the possibility that I was extra sensitive last night, watching your team collapse right before your eyes will do that to even the best of them.

My only point was that I have heard so many times how it is only the Mets fans that troll the Yankee threads, which is certainly not the case. It goes both ways and it is unnessasary no matter which fan is doing it.
