even thou we won?t get to the playoffs, this team has to show, that it?s better than they play till now. we need to get something to built on for next year, if we replace him now, the team will lose every selfconfidence, that?s left and we?ll be one of the 5 worst teams in this league: no Free Agents will sign, and it?ll get hard to resign the players, we need in the future. i just still think chad gives us the best chance to win. don?t forget, that Kellen sucked until the 4th quater against baltimore
Almost no point in me saying it because it's been said so many times already, but Pennington just doesn't have the physical tools to be a dynamic starter in this league. And he knows it too, you can tell. He's making stupid plays that are not typical of him. He's pressing. Could he be a good game management type on a team like Chicago? Maybe. But the Jets aren't that kind of team. It's just painfully clear that he shouldn't be the starter anymore. At this point, Pennington is looking like a glorified Jason Garrett.
Even after these last two weeks, you still feel that Chad gives us the best chance to win??? I admire your optimism and if the asteriod ever comes towards earth, you're the person I want around in my last days.. We need to get Clemens some playing time. Significant playing time in real game situations. If we're gonna move on, we have to know exactly what we have at the QB position and there's only one way to find that out..
Please explain your signature to me, because from what I gather, a real Jets fan must support a quarterback who has lead his team to a 1-4 record with little hope of salvaging the season.
The fact that a QB making his first NFL start was able to adjust and turn it on in the 4th quarter against a very talented defense is a bad thing to you?
What's the number one thing we all can actually not deny when it comes to Pennington? His smarts. Uh....what was smart about the balloon that he threw up for grabs? What was so smart about the other two picks...right into two Giant defenders hands? The Kellen Clemens era has begun, for better or worse.
Right now we're on the Chad watch. If a change is not made and the Jets keep losing we'll be on the Mangini watch in a few weeks.
It's definitely time to start Clemens. I can understand starting Chad today even if only for the sake of optimistism, but this charade can't go on any longer.
i just think we should chad give 2-3 more games, 2 games more or less won?t make much impact in Kellens progressin
And 2 more starts for Chad will not win us a Super Bowl this year, so why bother. Let the kid get as many reps as he can this year!!!!
I have been here a long time. CP can't make the big throw when they need him to and who ever they play from now on knows it. I love him to depth, his heart, competive fire but when they need the big throw he can't do it.
