he didn't take full responsability but he did blame himself and say he needs to coach better.

He needs to take full responsibility. The buck either stops with the head coach or he's not being a head coach.

This was the first time this season where I've heard Mangini concede that the coaching may have had something to do with the poor football being played by the Jets....

It was refreshing to hear that....

It was also refreshing that he did NOT throw anyone under the bus, and did not give unwarranted praise to Pennington....

Hopefully this will signal Mangini beginning to make changes to better the team

Our lines really are bad, but I'm having a harder time watching the D-line right now then the O. At least the O-line can provide decent pass protection at times. The D-line is completely unproductive.

Me too. That's why I don't watch any more. They'll lose whether I watch or not.

I really enjoyed this day. It was beautiful outside. Someone please call me when they put a real team on the field. [IMG]

Don't they usually put the post game pres conferences on the official site? Think they will with this one?

Very true; I would notch the Offensive line up a couple rungs over the Defensive line. It is real easy for an offense to run against us when the front 3 are getting pushed back 3 yards on every play.

I didn't see the first half; I went on a hike up a mountain with my son and his friend. I didn't even have the radio on. I got back about mis 3rd quarter and that is when the wheels slowly but very surely came off. Another classic Jets melt down. I have seen this so many times over the years I don't even now how to count them all.

Hey spending time with your son is what it's about. Watching the Jets is a waste of time. I wish my uncle never took me to Shea to see Namath. I almost hate him for it.

Today my GF and I walked through Park Slope and enjoyed a good meal at a sidewalk cafe. Then it was back to my parents house to wish them a happy 49th anniversary with some cake and coffee. Though I had turned the radio on in the car on during the 3rd quarter and heard the score was 23 - 10 I somehow knew they would still lose. Hey I'm a Jets fan after all

I am trying to rationalize my Sunday Ticket and Superfan subscritions by watching all of our games (painful). My girlfriend is trying to get into football with me and is so naive that if we are up by 7 in the first she thinks we are going to win haha. She is having a more difficult time with our losing than I am.

Our defence is the biggest problem on the team and if anyone refuses to see it they should stp watching football, it is a goddamn joke out there for fuck's sakes

......Yeah when we heard the score in the car she said, "See they're gonna' win. You could have stayed home to watch it. We didn't have to go anywhere." I told her "It's only the 3rd quarter. There's still plenty of time for them to blow it." I'll email her the link to the final score so she can see it at work. Ah, she's a Cowboys fan. What does she know :)

Have you ever heard of a little thing called respecting other peoples opinions and not telling them they should stop watching football if they don't agree with your opinions (which most of the time are completely assinine)

    Does anyone know...

I'm not from NY so I haven't seen Mangini's press conference. Did anyone ask him or did he make any comments on whether he will change QBs? (Yes, I think he should!).
