Until Sunday when Ronnie Brown went down with a season ending injury, I would have said 1-15 looks likely, but now with him out, the Dolphins looks like the closest thing to a certain win on our remaining schedule. So that's win number 2. Here's what's left: Buffalo: they have a running game, so we lose Washington: playing pretty tough, good defense, we lose Pittsburgh: no brainer lose Dallas: Too much offense, we lose Cleveland: showing good offense, we lose New England: duh, lose Tennessee: Won't contain Young, big lose Kansas City: Too much running, we lose Can anyone see more than two wins this year? I sure can't
I believe if we make a few changes on the team including Kellen Clemens, we could maybe win 4. It would be nice if KC won more games then he lost when he finally is given the keys, but I don't know if that is reallistic...
great draft pick coming up, hopefully someone will be worth it maybe we can get our future franchise quaterback and everyone can call for clemens to be benched next year this season sucks
If they bench Pennington this week, we can play offense with any team on that list, except NE. The question is, if the offense can manage some second half continuity, how much does the defense improve by not being on the field for the whole second half.
No offense to your comment, but the Jets still get to play Miami. I know it was close last time we played, but that was then they had Chris Chambers, Trent Green and Ronnie Brown. Now they have Cleo Lemon, Ted Ginn, and Jessie Chatham. I think it is safe to say 2-14 is the very worst we will do.
The Jets are going to the Big Dance. Write it down. Now I didn't say just which dance that was, but as long as someone does the Hucklebuck, the season isn't a total failure.
I still think it's possible. But ONLY IF Clemens gets the ball starting this weekend, and keeps it the rest of the way. And only if he's the real deal. But with Chad, for even one more game, we can't win 8, no question.
I said possible, I didn't say likely, nor did I say I thought we would. Don't take away my dreams. They're all I've got.
Hehehe... how much will it kill Jet fans to lose to KC and more than likely help them make the playoffs... AGAIN. Talk about salt in the wound. :breakdance:
I really wouldnt be suprised if the jets defense makes jessie chatham run for 150 yards and look like emmit smith.
I will say this, putting Kellen Clemens in is a good thing. But our win/lose ratio will NOT get any better with Clemens behind center this year. Infact, I think it might get even get worse. This team is not good enough to have a smooth QB switch right now. I hope all you Chad haters are ready to actually give a NYJets QB a real fighting chance (as in be patient), because if you think Kellen is going to spark a winning streak with this team this year well you are completely nuts.
