The defense won this game, kudos to whoever made the defensive changes because this was arguably as good as D-Rob and Ellis have played in recent years.

seriously, what came over D-Rob? was he moving around a lot, playing DE? i mean, today he looked like the 4th overall pick.

couldn't watch the game - did we really play a 3-4 defence and put up those numbers? Stunning...

And held Parker to 52 yards, the second leading rusher in the NFL, the d-line really stepped up.

The D looked sick today...I mean even guys who we haven't heard from all year...Bowens, Robertson, Ellis, Hank "Kiss My" poTeat.

I'd really like to know what kind of D we were playing from someone who really knows what they are talking about...because, apparently even Roethlisberger couldn't figure it out.

i wonder if Mangini assumed more of the scheming and playcalling.

at least, that's what i'd like to think.

A lot of that was due to verry good coverage by the DBs.

Great job by them today, too.

I hope so because the blitz schemes were a lot more creative than what we saw previously. If Mangini did take more control, he better keep it up.

It was just the greatest game this year. Great job D. Not bad work on Kellen's behalf either. Yes Virginia, we have a future!

I really think that the amount of rotation we had was ridiculous and contributed heavily to this win. It seemed like every part of our front seven was interchangeable and it made it impossible for the Steelers to control the game.

I really like this Ellis as a hybrid OLB/DE experiment. It's fun but I don't think it will work over the long term. We still need some work at the other defensive end spot but I think Ellis is still a good player.

I haven't felt this good about the Jets since last season- I knew this team had holes (defense especially) but this was the best defensive game I saw from them since the win at NE last season.
