Beating to the Pats would gain the Jets some respect around the league and Clemens would likely be praised, so, I picked that.
Even if we beat the Pats, we're still light years behind them and they'll still probably win the Super Bowl anyway, so who cares. Herm is a non-issue in my mind at this point so it doesn't really add any incentive. But if we end up being that only team to lose to the Fish, I probably won't be able to watch football anymore.
this is a tricky poll, i dont want the pats to go undefeated, but i want miami maybe even more to go winless
Are you kidding me...it's not even close...beat the Pat's obviously...I would give back our win to the Phins and lose on Sunday too if it means we beat the Pats... We have beaten the phins for too long now it's not even satisfying anymore but to mess up on the Pats perfect season... now that would be something...
wow this is a great poll!!! i really dont know how to vote on it. i HATE the dolfags, cant stand em i grew up in the 80s and they will always and forever be my arch enemy, i just cant accept losing to them, ever no matter what. i really cant stand the patriots, that pos bellichicken and especially all their new fans who didnt even know there was a team in "boston" during the 80s so i hate them as well but i cant say i hate them near as much as the dolfags. i hate herm, hell i got a herm must go shirt i still wear every now and again. i wish nothing but losses on him and would hate to mail one in and give him the idea he was in a better place. the dolphins going winless would be great but doesnt really make shit worth of difference to me as long as we beat them twice, if they get one win or 2 i couldnt care less. i know they suck, i know their stadium is 3/4 empty. the patriots having that bs we are the best team ever is quite an annoying thought too. i would rather they lose in the playoffs in the 2nd round to someone like the browns, that would definitely be fun. ok fuck it im picking to win against the patriots.
We CAN NOT lose to the fish (next April, I may wish we did) Beating the Patsies would be cool. But .... we suck this year.
I'll take the joy of beating New England over the agony of losing to Miami, but it's a tough question.
Gotta stop the Pats. It's already debatable that there the greatest team of all time, going undefeated and winning the SB would clinch it. Thats just to damn much.
Thats not really true, think about it IF the pats lose to the jets and go on and win the super bowl and the jets are their only loss in the season people will remember it forever. People still talk about the bears losing to the fins in 85'.
I could care less if we lose to the Phins, just beat the Pats and severly concuss Brady. The Dolphins will forever be our #1 rival, nomatter what the Pats do the AFC East is always about Jets-Dolphins...just this one season has a special caveat. of course, I'd like to think we can win both games!
if we could beat the patriots, it'd validate the whole horrible season. beating Miami? Who cares? Even if New England lost in the playoffs or had another loss besides ours later (not Baltimore), it'd be huge to be the team that broke up the undefeated season so late in the year. If we beat Miami and they go winless, the win (and the first win) still won't really matter much.
Beating the Pats, and it's not even close. People still bring up the '85 bears losing to the Dolphins that year.
I'll take the Dolphins win. Plus if the Pats go undefeated we don't have to see those decrepit pieces of garbage from the 72 Dolphins team paraded around every season.
Yeah, but then we will see the '07 Patriots paraded around every season for the remainder of our lives. And it's still not going to change the fact that the 1972 Dolphins went undefeated.
I'd rather see the '72 Dolphins paraded around than the '07 Patriots. The Dolphins not being the only perfect team does nothing for me, because I hate the '07 Patriots more than I hate the '72 Dolphins.
I'll go with this. The thought of a perfect season for the Pats makes me feel queasy. The only thing I've got left to watch this season is hoping for a Pats fall and if it's against the Jets- season saved!
