Ok so I get up at 6:30 on a Saturday morning after working till 2 and dealing with a 3 week old during those 4 hours of sleep. All I want to do is go to Fenway Park for the 1st time . They are home for my birthday and I figured me and the wife would take a midweek trip to Boston They put their single game tix on sale today for May and Apil. Well wouldn't you know I''ve been stuck in some BS virtual waiting room for the last 2 hours.

There has got be be a better way to do this and I don't wanna pay some assanine amount of money on ebay to see the freaking Royals and Sox. How many Massholes can be trying to get tix against KC? I've sacrifed 2 hours of precious sleep to deal with this BS. I've gotten World Series tickets easier than this shit. Hopefully when the Yankees put thier single game tix on sale it'll be better than this crap I have to deal with.....

Like the title says F the Red Sox........

They sell out every single game. Kansas City or not, the park will be full.

Ok it's freaking 12:30 in Vegas and I'm still in this BS random waiting room. Good thing I'm not looking for Sox packs because they are sold out.

nope there are millions of fans who want tickets unlike in NY.
Sept 3, 2008 - Red Sox break the MLB record for consecutive sellouts with 456 in a row.

Selling out Fenway is like selling out a minor league park. What does it hold, 39000? You may have sold it out 456 times in a row but what was your attendance for the year compared to the Yankees or even the Mets whom I am sure both out drew you by a lot.

Even if it was bigger it would still be sold out. For every game there are huge lines of people for standing room.

Which is why the Red Sox sell out other teams parks when on the road. Baltimore, Tampa, Toronto - all Fenway Park franchises. It's so bad in Baltimore that it's become a growing rant among Oriole fans. It's so good that the Red Sox have started their own travel division as a means of generating new revenue.

Let me know if you strike out. I buy into a 10-game season ticket group each year, and I'd happily give up a pair for you and your wife. The problem is that the tickets don't get distributed to each of us until March, and games are chosen by lottery so that no one whines about someone else getting all the good games. After each of us gets his tickets, the trading begins. If you're still stuck in that horrible ticket sales waiting room (and, trust me, I've been there), I shouldn't have much trouble swapping for mid-week KC tickets.

I went there a few months ago against Tb while I was on town on business, we got good seats for $20 outside the Stadium. There are people selling tickets all over the place for alot less than you'll pay now.

That's very true. Just hop off at Kenmore Square station and start walking toward the Park. In that one block, you'll see about a dozen scalpers and as long as they stay out of the Yawkey Way area right around the Park, the team and the city seem to allow them to do business.

Probably your worst post ever. In 2007 NY sold over 8.1 million regular season basbeball tickets. The Yanks and Mets were 1st and 3rd in tickets sold in MLB. In 2006 they sold 7.5 mill and again the Yanks and Mets were 1st and 3rd in tickets sold. This year both teams are likely to go over 4 mill each... no millions of people don't want tickets in NY :drunk:

If you'd be willing to give up 2 of your season tix I'd certainly be willing to purchase those 2 mid week KC Royals tix from ya. I only need 2 unless of course they charge children under 1 for a seat.

You're covered. And you can certainly bring your child. Just can't dress him/her in Yankee anything. Decent seats. Section 156.

Oh no definately no Yankee stuff, I used to work for a Royals farm club so maybe some KC stuf for me and the wife but the kid won't be wearing anything Jets/Mets/Nets/Rangers/Islanders/Rutgers/Devils/Giants/Red Bull NY/NY Cosmos/Hofstra or anything else that might get me into a fight....

Awesome, I guess I'll be talking to ya in about March right?

    You're looking at May 19, 20, 21, or 22. Do you have a preference?

    The 21st and 22nd it's a Wednesday and a Thursday....

Oh and any suggestions on where to stay? I don't plan on renting a car so someplace close to the subway would be ideal. Is the theatre district any good? I've stayed there when I was in Boston for work but we had a car and it was winter so no need to get to Fenway.
