Look i go to plenty of giants games. My bros to good friends work for the giants film crew i get great seats. I also have Jets season tickets. The jets games are far more exciting and fans are much wilder. So a lilttle jersey burning cannot compare to some wild times we have.

Even our intros kick Giants ass. Welcome to jungle, jets chants , fire works. It was a lil lame towards end of this year since we had bad year but otherwise i feel it more at a jet game..

    um

You obviously weren't at the Patriots Giants game which the crowd stood the entire game and was the loudest game ever in that Stadium.....sorry we dont have Fireman Ed the Dolphin fan, or some nice little chant, we are there to watch the game chant defense drink some beers and win Superbowls.

It's pretty much widely accepted fact that the loudest that cement toilet bowl has ever gotten was the Jets/Packers game in 2003. Though some say the Colts game the following week.

Giants games can't get that loud, too many old faggot fans combined with upper crust ninnies.

We dont need fireman Ed. Hes a cry baby. That was the loudest game ever? I didnt know they did sound tests. Come on.. Jets playoffs 41-0 against Colts No one sat at all. Jets - Miami Monday night 4th quarter comeback Greatest game ever played in that Stadium.. Hey congrats on superbowl. I was rooting hard to Giants. I have no beef with them I do root for them each week. Except once every 4 years and once every August..

    um

Why would you root for the Giants I dont get it........Giants 41-0 against the Vikings.....Giants 17-0 against the Redskins in 1986 and the Pats game in Week 17 was the loudest ever and anyone will tell you that and yes it was louder then the Jet playoff games.

    Goodnight

    um

Im 29 not 15 and Im a REAL FAN I dont root for 2 teams.....Most Jet fans are great fans and die hards and they dont need Giant fans rooting for them and I never have and never will....I watched a Youtube clip and there was a 16 yr old kid in a Jets Keyshawn jersey jumping around like someone put a firecracker in his pants over the Giants winning....what kind of fan is that?

Giants 1pm games are quiet Ill admit it but 4pm and night games are a different story

I have no ill feelings towards the Jets. They are lumped in there with the Chargers, and Packers as my teams I like

Been a Jets fan for 21 years, but I never really had any animosty for the Giants unless the Jets were playing them. I happily cheered for the Giants during the Super Bowl because 1) I don't have Giants hatred and 2) I hate the Patriots. It's not nearly as bad as rooting for the Mets to beat the Red Sox, but I can't say I'd look forward to a repeat of the '86 World Series. I don't hate the Mets, but dealing with their fans if they win it all would not be something I'd be happy about. It's wack that Mets fans side with Sox fans, but that's a story for a different day.

I don't like the fact that the Jets and Giants have to share a stadium again, either. We wouldn't have to deal with that if stupid Jim Dolan wouldn't have pulled a cock block on the West Side Stadium project. At least the new field is a 50/50 proposition and the stadium won't be named "Giants Stadium" this time around. (I don't like corporate names, especially for New York teams, but as long as it's tasteful and not dedicated to the G-Men, I'll tolerate it.)

By the way, isn't Giants Stadium owned by the NJSEA? And don't the Jets pay rent to them and not the Giants?

Where have you been? Most Jet fans hate the Giants, I despise them. I hate them more than any other team, I hated both SB teams, unfortunately someone had to win.

my favorite giants moment was the look on parcells face (1988) when they lost to us on the last game of the season and had the rest of the year to think about "only if....".

If you read my post a little closer I said that most of the heat between the Jets & Giants is with the fans, not the teams themselves. If these two organizations really disliked each other they would not share a stadium, they would not congradulate one another on wins. Again, do you think Wilpon called old George and said nice job during the Yankees run? Hell no, and George sure as hell would not call old Fred if the Mets win it all. The Mets & Yankes are even trying to outdo each other with their new Stadiums, they are even building them at the same time and opening them the same year so one does not outdo the other. Same goes with Hockey and B-Ball. The Nets are loving the Knicks misery right now, even though the Nets are lousy now as well. I agree Jets and Giants fans don't always get along, but the teams themselves are by far the friendliest of all NY rivals.

Actually I think the Wilpons have called the Yanks in the past to congratulate them on Championships and I believe the Yankees have done the same w/ the Mets. I guarantee you the Jets FO and Owensership is not happy the Giants won the SB, it only makes life more difficult for them but that shouldn't prevent them from showing some class and congratulating them.

I've never heard of any mets or yankees FO calling to congratulate each other on any victories. That's just absurd. Look in reality I really don't have that much beef with the Giants, I just want my team to have the NY spotlight for a good while. Most of my family (cousins mostly) are Giants fans, and they don't have any animosity toward the jets. My giants fans cousins are also met fans, because they were the frontrunners in '86. When it comes to baseball it's a totally different story. They hate the yankees. I have a brother who lives in the Bronx who is a met fan simply because of his hatred for the Yanks. As a mets fan the guy roots for Boston and everything because of this. It's almost as if met fans and Redsux fans joined hands and became 1, to badmouth and trash the Yanks. But this baseball hatred, clearly doesn't exist in football. Maybe some fans want to make an issue of it, but it's not that many.

I don't have any proof but I am pretty sure the Wilpons congratulated the Yankees after they won their World Series' and I am pretty sure George did the same for the Mets in '86. I can't proove it but I have a pretty good memory. Heck george has congratulated the Sox so why wouldn't he congratulate the Mets?

regardless of all that, nobody hates the Giants more than I do but I congratulate them for their great play the past month and for pulling off such a huge upset. I can't stand them and I wish they wouldn't have won but they did a great job.

I would like to see proof of that myself, the Post & the Times always jump on issues like that for it makes good headlines, I never seen anything reported on the Mets calling the yanks and viseversa with the yanks calling the Mets. It's weird how football is the more violent sport but yet the Football teams get along and the Baseball teams want to kill one another.

up to 2 years ago the giants had no say say over the stadium, they were 'tenats' just as we were, a lot of people dont know this and it aggravates the shit out of me, the giants didnt and still dont own 'giants stadium', its just called giants stadium because they were there 1st, they payed just as much rent as we did, i cant wait for 2010, when the new stadium wont be called giants stadium, ands its 50, 50 on everything, and we can finaly put this bullshit 'little red headed stepchild mentality to bed once and for all!!!
