    I dont see much point in signing chatman. jones and leon should be a good duo with our improved o-line, and theres talk of possibly drafting mcfadden.

    Look at Denver, when you are trying to build a dominant run game, you can never have enough quality running backs.

    Signing Chatman doesn't guarantee NOT picking McFadden or Mendenhall. The team is just trying to fill every hole possible before the draft so they can go BPA with every pick.

    I Doubt we sign Wilson but Chatman would be some nice added depth at RB.

    Chatman would be pretty inexpensive. And he would add the ability to punish the defense, especially in the 4th quarter this would be valuable.

    I think that his viability might hinge on his willingness and aptitude to play Special Teams. Otherwise an "RB Specialist" probably doesn't rate a roster spot.
